Description
Hello, My name is Michael,
I'm an amiable, introspective, hard working person looking for meaningful volunteering opportunities. I'm always interested in meeting different people and learning about new ways of living, thinking, and experiencing life. For me, volunteering is a brilliant way to do this
I enjoy working outside and I have a fair bit of experience in gardening and grounds maintenance. From my previous work experience in rural locations in Australia and New Zealand (and from past volunteering) I have skills/experience in:
- Garden maintenance (weeding,
mowing, strimming, hedge
trimming)
- Tractor driving
- Chopping/stacking logs
- Fruit picking/pruning
- Landscape gardening
- Building/Mixing cement
- Forklift driving
- Mulching
- Painting
I regularly practice meditation. I also have martial arts experience (Muay Thai) and I dabble at the guitar and piano in my free time.
Thanks for taking the time to read this -

Their permaculture farm is beautiful. It is far enough from Pukekohe to feel very rural, but close enough for easy trips to the shops. There is an abundance of animals on the farm, ranging from dogs … read more
I spent 2 weeks at the institute here in Latacunga. Everybody who works here is incredibly lovely and will make you feel very comfortable and at home.
