Hello my name is Forest, I'm a 19 year old and a solo traveler, I live on the west coast of Washington state, and have a vast passion for travel. I have always loved the way nature works, my fondness for animals has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I have been very lucky to have traveled as much as i have, i have been to Africa, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and most recently Japan. This trip I have been traveling around Eroupe and have seen Iceland, Portugal, Spain Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Uk. I have always had an interest in travel and seeing new places. When I was 8 years old I started to learn about opportunities like workaway, and ways to travel under a budget, so I started to save money. 10 years later, I can finally accomplish my dream of traveling around the world. I can't wait to explore various parts of nature, culture and human connections. In my free time I enjoy drawing, playing chess (not very well), juggling, and photography.

I have experience in hospitality, caretaking, and cleaning, and I really enjoy helping out wherever I can. I’ve cleaned and organized boats, including kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. I’ve cared for people with disabilities and served food for people living in assisted living facilities. I have been looking after homes and pets, feeding animals, watering plants, and keeping things tidy for over 6 years. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills and love for working with people. I’m adaptable, reliable, and always excited to learn new things, connect with others, and contribute wherever I stay.

This will be my first time traveling this far completely by myself, I'm so incredibly excited but being an introvert there is a part of me that knows it will push my boundaries, and that makes me nervous, but not enough to stop me. Im so thrilled to see how i change, to interact with people I normally wouldn't, and put myself out there. I hope to find like minded people who will want to talk about anything nerdy like cartoons, your favorite music or favorite pieces of media, to deeper conversations about philosophy, about how the world works and what you believe in.
