Hey everyone, I'm Filippo, a 36-year-old from Italy who has called Australia home for the last six years. Since 2016, I've been fortunate enough to travel through New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and much of Europe, and I'm here on Workaway to continue that journey.

My background is a mix of practical skills and hospitality experience. I'm a seasoned handyman with a knack for maintenance and fixing things, but I've also spent time in hospitality, from waitering to providing excellent customer service.

I'm keen to use Workaway to not only keep traveling but also to build on these skills and learn new ones. I'm a reliable and adaptable person ready to lend a hand wherever it's needed. I'm looking forward to connecting with hosts and experiencing new places and cultures.

My core skills lie in two main areas: practical maintenance and hospitality.

For hands-on tasks, I'm a reliable and experienced handyman. I'm comfortable with a wide range of general maintenance and repair work, from fixing minor plumbing issues and electrical problems to building and assembling furniture. My background includes six years of managing my own living spaces and assisting friends with their projects (building 3 van fit outs for example), so I’m used to getting things done efficiently and correctly. I’m a quick learner and not afraid of a challenge, so I’m always ready to tackle a new task and see it through to completion.

On the hospitality side, I have solid experience in both waitering and customer service. I've worked in fast-paced environments where providing a positive and friendly experience was key. I'm a great communicator, always organized, and I enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life. I’m used to handling diverse customer needs with a positive attitude and a calm demeanor.

Whether it’s a big project or just a helping hand with daily tasks, I'm confident I can contribute to your home or business with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
