Description
Hello! My name is Erhard, I am 25 years old and I come from France.
I have just finished my law studies in Paris. Before starting to work as a solicitor in France, I decided to take some time off to travel, discover new cultures and, above all, improve my English through real immersion abroad.
On a personal level, I am a cheerful, sociable, positive and dynamic person. I like to create a good atmosphere around me, share simple moments, laugh, enjoy the moment and party with my friends. I integrate easily and really enjoy human interaction.
In my free time, I am quite athletic, I really enjoy hiking, whether in the countryside or in the mountains, and I am a football fan.
Through Workaway, my main goal is to speak as much English as possible and fully immerse myself in another culture. I want to meet new people, share experiences and make a positive contribution to my hosts' daily lives. For me, this adventure is as much about human exchange as it is an opportunity for learning and discovery.
I am motivated, curious and ready to get involved in new projects. It would be a pleasure to be part of your adventure !

More details about your skills
I have a background in law. I completed my law studies and passed the bar exam, which allows me to practise as a solicitor in France. During my studies, I completed several internships in law firms and companies. There, I developed skills in writing, legal research and case analysis. This training taught me to be thorough, organised, and independent.
Alongside my studies, I have always worked in a wide variety of sectors. I have done a lot of temporary work (order preparation, sales, handling, manual labour, etc.), which has enabled me to adapt quickly to different environments and teams. I am comfortable with physical work and am not afraid of tasks that require energy or regularity.
I also have solid experience in the restaurant industry. I have worked as a maître d'hôtel for event caterers in Paris, as well as a waiter, runner and barman in restaurants and bars. These experiences have taught me the meaning of service, teamwork, stress management and dealing with a variety of people. I am comfortable with customers and enjoy helping to create a good atmosphere.
In my personal life, I am a resourceful person who enjoys DIY and gardening. My parents have a house where there are often small jobs to be done: painting, masonry, outdoor maintenance, etc. I am a quick learner and enjoy getting involved in practical projects.
As for languages, I speak French fluently. I have an intermediate level of English, which I really want to improve through this immersion programme. I also speak a little Spanish.

What else ...
When it comes to sport, I particularly enjoy hiking, whether in the countryside or in the mountains. I also really like football and support Strasbourg FC in France. For me, sport is a great way to bond with others and share good times.
Beyond sport, I like to get involved in helping others, especially when it has a real impact. In Paris, I take part in outreach programmes for homeless people. The idea is simply to go and meet them, chat, offer them a coffee and a little comfort. These moments of exchange are often simple but very human.
Last summer, I also volunteered at a holiday camp for people with physical disabilities. For eight days, the whole team of volunteers organised activities and did everything we could to give them the best week of the year. This experience had a big impact on me.
For several years, I was also a scout, where I learned the meaning of community, life in nature, mutual aid and the value of hard work.
In general, I like to make myself useful, get involved in a group and contribute to a positive dynamic. I strongly believe in solidarity, sharing and human experiences.
