Description

We are Emilia and Leo, and we’re excited to gain new experiences before the summer comes to an end. Traveling has always been a big passion of ours and we love discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and seeing the world from new perspectives.
What we enjoy most, however, is connecting with people: hearing their stories, learning about their passions, and getting inspired by the way they live and work. That’s why we decided to leave Berlin and travel through Western and Southern Europe from July to September: to step out of our comfort zone and meet wonderful people along the way.
Even though we are very social and enjoy spending time with others, we are also perfectly happy working independently. We are a reliable and well-organized team, and we support each other in everything we do.

We would describe ourselves as open-minded, flexible, and curious.
But we especially enjoy tasks that involve nature, creativity or learning new skills (and we are not afraid to get our hands dirty). If your project includes any of these, we would love to be part of it!

Curious, open-minded, and always up for new experiences: that’s how we would describe ourselves. Learning new things comes naturally to us, and we bring a lot of energy and motivation to everything we do.
Traveling has already been a big part of our life, especially within Europe. In our free time, you’ll usually find us with friends, listening to music, or staying active.
Sports have always played a role for both of us: Leo currently does boxing and has tried basketball, football, and gym training, while Emilia has a background in athletics and dancing and still enjoys going to the gym.
Being organized and reliable is important to us, but at the same time, we’re flexible and happy to adapt to new routines. Tasks like cleaning and tidying can actually be quite relaxing for Leo, whereas Emilia especially enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes.
Connecting with people from different backgrounds is something we both really value. Growing up with siblings, family has always been an important part of our lives.
Besides finishing our Abitur in Berlin, we both gained some practical working experience: Leo worked as a bicycle pizza delivery driver and enjoys hands-on tasks like assembling furniture or working outdoors. Emilia volunteers in a homeless shelter during winter, works in a café, and tutors a student in maths—so interacting with all kinds of people is something she’s very comfortable with.
Apart from that, Emilia has spent a lot of time of her childhood with her family in a little garden in the suburbs of Berlin. Leo is also used to being outside since he visited his family's van very often. Therefore, we also gained some experience there.
Overall, we’re positive, motivated, and easy-going and excited to meet new people and share experiences this summer.
