Hello everyone!

My name is Dorine and I'm from the Netherlands.

For about 10 years now I've been a frequent traveller and looking for ways to make more impact during my travels and also learn some new skills myself.
In university I studied to be a social worker, but I'm open to many other fields of work too.

I love gardening. I have my own vegetable/herb garden since 2020. I like to be in nature and take care of her. Therefore I also try to live a healthy and responsible lifestyle. Besides gardening I also enjoy doing projects like remodelling and fixing up houses and rooms. I enjoy doing this on a budget and re-using old materials. I would consider myself quite handy. :) Defenitely not afraid of tools and getting my hands dirty.

In my free time I also enjoy cooking, hiking, the beach, live music, yoga and horseriding.

I will also be a yoga teacher soon. Graduating in September 2026.

I'm always up for a new adventure and not afraid to try something new! Also love meeting new people from all over the world over, and over again. It never gets boring ...

As a social worker I can bring people together. Also I have done gardening in the Netherlands and Portugal, Spain and Costa Rica and have some knowledge about it by now. I'm quite handy since I have fixed up several houses in the Netherlands. Also soon to be a yoga teacher.

We stayed with Jennifer and Mabel for about a week. The communication was clear and we received a PDF with some rules and expectations prior to arrival. Upon arrival one of the other workawayers showed us the tent and the facilities. We personally thought the tent could have been cleaner. Last october my boyfriend Connor and I stayed with Rosalía and Pedro for one month. We enjoyed our stay and we really appreciated how flexible Rosalía and Pedro were regarding work hours/type of work etc. The accomodation is great and Rosalía and Pedro were very respecting of our privacy (knocking on the window before coming in etc.)

In the summer of 2018 I stayed with Chaplin and Carolien for a while. A friend I met in Lisbon asked me if I wanted to join him to work on a lemon farm north of Lisbon. We checked with chaplin a few days before and he was very welcoming and I could tag along.

We don't normally get too many girls on our farm here, but Dorine was great! A really happy, friendly gal, always ready to jump in and give it a go.
