Description
We are Evi & Raf, outdoor enthusiasts who love connecting with nature and enjoying the simple things in life.
We run a very little farm with just a few animals close to nature.
As passionate foragers, we spend our seasons exploring the beautiful woods to gather herbs, fresh berries, and mushrooms.
We also love cooking!
There is nothing better than turning our wild finds and homegrown goods into home-cooked meals.
Around the farm, we spend most of our time outdoors—tending to our garden, working in our greenhouse, and take care of our animal family.
We love staying active! We like hiking through the forests and mountains, cross-country skiing during the winter, or going out for a ride on our motorbike.
We are real animal lovers, and our mini-farm is home to just 3 sheep, 10 chickens, 3 Indian Runner ducks, and our 3 dogs and 1 cat.
As our guest, you will definitely be spoiled with fresh eggs from our chickens and ducks every day!
Please note that we are not a commercial farm. Everything we grow and produce is for our own household consumption and self-sustainably, though we love sharing or bartering our harvest with friends and neighbors.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home in Säffle.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
By staying with us on our mini-farm, you will experience the authentic Swedish outdoor lifestyle firsthand. We love sharing our passions with our volunteers!
What we can share and learn together:
• Foraging & Cooking: We are happy to teach you how to forage for wild plants, berries, and mushrooms in the local forests, and we love exchanging recipes and cooking delicious, fresh meals together.
• Language & Culture: We can share insights into daily life in Sweden, local traditions, and help you practice the language if you are interested.
• Hands-on Farm Skills: You will get practical experience in running a small-scale greenhouse, managing a garden, and caring for our sheep, ducks, and chickens.
• Local Exploration: We love sharing the best local hiking trails and outdoor spots around Säffle and the Värmland region.
We see this experience as a two-way street: we want to learn about your culture, background, and stories just as much as we share ours. You will have plenty of private time in your cozy caravan, but during the days, we hope to build a great connection, work as a team, and enjoy great food together! -
