Description

Hi, my name is Debora and I've joined work-away to take a break from my computer-based life and help people create something tangible with my two hands. I've spent the last 3 years working as a consultant for social housing, though overall I've worked as an architect/interiorist, scenographer and theater-maker. I'd say I am currently "rebooting" my life and taking this time to do something meaningful before I head in any concrete direction again. I'm an affectionate reader of both fiction and nonfiction and recently I've been rediscovering the joy of painting again. I have a tender relationship to water, forests and cats.

I'd say that I am reasonably skilled with tools, I've recently tapped into furniture renovation and I'm interested in both permaculture and sustainable building, so I'd like to learn or practice more in those areas.

I can do any gardening or construction work. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and I dare say I'm skilled with my hands. I can design interiors, help you with space arrangement, I have some basic experience with furniture renovation. I'm a self-taught gardener and plant-carer interested in restorative practices. I can also draw and paint.
