Description
Hello!
We are a motivated, hardworking and versatile couple from the UK, aged 33 and 32 and we are seeking opportunities that allow us to broaden our skills and experience contributing to impactful projects.
We were living in Australia between 2019-2022 working a mixture of state government, hospitality and agricultural roles alongside various volunteering opportunities.
We then spent several years in London working in our respective professional sectors (Chris: Environmental Sustainability - Carbon Manager) and (Charlie: Education - Education & Skills Executive) before leaving our roles to travel and pursue opportunities aligned with our passion for food, produce, wellness and the outdoors.
We have highly varied experience and work very well together, collaborating on many volunteering projects in the past 10 years. This includes establishing volunteer programs, bushfire prevention work and permaculture/restorative agricultural projects.
We’re keen to bring our strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn, to a future opportunity aligned with our interests.
We’re excited to work with you and share our skills and passion!
Personal Profiles
We are both huge animal lovers and have a real passion for the outdoors, camping and adventure. We are predominantly vegetarian and we love to cook for other people - we’re really passionate about local, organic and seasonal produce!
Chris:
I have a keen interest and passion for the natural environment, sustainability and music and I enjoy doing various sports and activities to keep physically fit. I grew up in rural southwest-England by the sea and love the outdoors.
Charlie:
I am passionate about helping people and contributing towards wellness and community. Whilst travelling in Central America, I became a qualified yoga teacher which helps me to contribute to other's wellbeing through movement. I have also danced for many years of my life, so I enjoy movement and learning dance styles from other cultures.
