Hi, I’m Caterina and I come from northern Italy!
I just finished Humane Sciences High School and I would like to take a gap year. This year I hope to live beautiful experiences that can enrich me as a person and help me understand what I want to do in my future. I am interested in travelling to discover new cultures and to try to go beyond my comfort zone. I am an empathetic and helpful girl, in fact I like to be with others, listen and be useful. I care about sustainability projects and I'm curious to find recycling and waste reduction methods. It makes me happy walking in the mountains, drawing, listening to live music, making handmade items like recycled paper, bracelets, necklaces and sewing clothes.

If I am asked what are my skills I think I would answer by saying that my strong point is interpersonal relationships. I am an empathic and helpful person, I'm a good listener and I have no problem at talking with strangers.
I worked as a waitress and as a housekeeper in a mountain hut for three summers. In the last year I worked in the theater staff of my city's playhouse, so I took care of the reception of guests, the organization and the bar service. I volunteered as a homework help for foreign children and as an animator with the children of the scout group of which I am part organizing games and activities. I also volunteered at Mirabilia, an international festival of performing arts, street theatre and contemporary circus.
I am interested in active citizenship in fact I have participated in projects concerning migration caused by climate change and my family hosts people with a migrant background. I am trying to implement practices for a more sustainable life hoping to change the reality in my small.
Some fun and unnecessary curiosities about me: I can ride a bike without hands, I have three sisters younger than me, I'm good at creating greeting cards, I'd like to study sociology or anthropology and I love colorful flowers.
