Bom dia!

I'm Bruno from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I love listening to people's stories, books that describe feelings in a way I never could, and the smell of home-made popcorn.

I recently quit my job in I.T. to experience a different place in life traveling across Central and South America. Surfing Pacific breaks has been on my mind nonstop lately, and I’m really excited to become part of a community where that can be a reality. I feel very lucky to be doing this, and I'm ready to get my hands dirty, work hard and learn as best as I can to make this dream come true :)

My main skills involve working in technology, hospitality/languages and teaching.

I've worked as a software developer for the past 6 years, so I'm well versed in all things computer — using computer systems, analyzing data, developing web apps, etc.

I have also worked as a full-time hostel receptionist in Rio along with a tourism Workaway experience in Morocco. I speak 4 languages and have visited over 20 countries, and love the cultural exchanges that come with these trips.

As to teaching, I was a volunteer math teacher for college applicants for two years, I currently teach English online and have always liked to show my friends and family how to surf, use the computer or any of my other hobbies.

All in all, I've been described as an easy-going and hard working person. I'm ready to get my hands dirty and learn all the ropes in new activities :)
