Hello,

My name is Bas. I'm 24 years old and grew up in Apeldoorn, a town in the Netherlands.

After moving out of Apeldoorn, I went to art academy for one year, where I learned skills like woodworking and basic welding. I also learned to draw, which I still enjoy doing! Since then, I've studied Creative Technology and am currently working at a tech company, where I develop machine learning models. Creative Technology is a broad, project-based degree, meaning I have a wide technical skillset. I can troubleshoot basic electronics, repair computers and sort out mechanical parts as well.

In my spare time, I enjoy strength training, rowing and being with my friends. I also enjoy photography and working on various side-projects.

I lived in the USA for one year, where I also went to a workaway in Michigan. I greatly enjoyed my time there, and I was busy fixing garden posts, a fridge and planting crops. I'm honestly open to all sorts of places, both quiet and more social ones. I'm very flexible in what work needs to be done, and would love to learn new skills too.

I'm available for two weeks starting the 29th of May.

- Building and repairing all sorts of things with wood, whether it's boxes, chairs or tables.
- Programming and building websites.
- 3D modeling and graphic design.
- Teamwork and project management, since I lead groups often as well.

There are also various other skills I've collected over the years:
- I've worked in a pub for about a year as a server and bartender.
- I'm an enthusiastic cook.
- I'm quite strong due to my love for sports, so I'm able to carry lots of things.
- I also have some plants at home, so I can do some gardening. I'm not the best, but I'd love to learn!
