Description
We are a research space that explores the ecosystemic relationships of the environment. It is located in Carovigno (Puglia) in a contemporary rural setting that combines creative research and rural culture. It consists of a multidisciplinary working group (artists, biologists, urban planners, anthropologists...) and organises seminars, workshops...
It is a place of blending and interference, a laboratory for redefining the relationship between nature, art, and culture.
Just to clarify, we are not a guest house nor a B&B. The activities we organize as an association are workshops, seminars, artist residencies (where the artist doesn't pay). The Workaway guests will only help with the land and garden maintenance.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We care about sharing knowledge about the natural ecosystems of the Mediterranean area (for example, plants that resist drought and salt) and how to use endemic plants. We are also interested in exploring topics related to eco- building (one building here was made with lime and hemp) and traditional knowledge of rural construction.
Hosting people from different cultures would allow us to exchange knowledge and ideas about plants, architecture, and ways of land management.
Help
We are looking for caring people interested in taking care of our garden, which features plant varieties from the Mediterranean region. Artists, biologists, entomologists, and botanists are welcome, but not only. We’re looking for people who are open to diversity and eager to exchange ideas and learn together.

Accommodation
We offer a bedroom (bed 180x200) with a private bathroom. We share the living room and the kitchen. We cook mainly vegetarian, open to many kinds of food. Feel free to suggest new recipes of yours!
What else ...
We are 10min away from the sea, 1min from Carovigno and 7min from Ostuni. A car is highly recommended if you want to move easily. We can provide a bike.
