Welcome to my home surrounded by nature 🌿
Hi, we're Helena and Paco. We live in the countryside of Barrado, Cáceres. In a quiet corner surrounded by fields and fruit trees. I created this space as a place to enjoy the simple life, in touch with the earth, but without rushing or demanding anything.
What kind of help do I need?
The help is light and varied, more designed for sharing the day-to-day than for hard work:
Small gardening tasks (watering, weeding, raking leaves).
Lending a hand around the house (tidying, light cleaning, cooking together if you'd like).
Taking care of my pets when they need it 🐾.
And if you want, you can exchange languages or teach us something you know how to do!
No building work, construction, or farm work to sell products. Just daily collaboration around the house and garden.
What do I offer?
A relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by nature.
Conversations, laughter, and good home-cooked food.
A space to unwind and also to share what each person brings: stories, culture, music, recipes...
Excursions, swims, or walks in the surrounding area: here there are hiking trails, natural pools, pretty villages, and plenty of tranquility.
Why do I welcome volunteers?
I like the idea of sharing experiences, learning from other people, and also sharing a bit of my way of life here. I'm not just looking for "help," but for companionship, cultural exchange, and for each visit to leave something beautiful behind.

Hola, somos Helena y Paco, vivimod en el campo de Barrado, Cáceres. En un rincón tranquilo rodeado de campo y árboles frutales. He creado este espacio como un lugar para disfrutar de la vida sencilla, en contacto con la tierra, pero sin prisas ni exigencias.
¿Qué tipo de ayuda necesito?
La ayuda es ligera y variada, más pensada para compartir el día a día que para trabajar duro:
Pequeñas tareas de jardinería (regar, quitar hierbas, recoger hojas).
Echar una mano en la casa (ordenar, limpieza sencilla, cocinar juntos si te apetece).
Cuidar de mis mascotas cuando lo necesiten 🐾.
Y si quieres, ¡intercambiar idiomas o enseñarnos algo que sepas hacer!
Nada de obras, construcción ni trabajos de finca para vender productos. Solo colaboración cotidiana en casa y jardín.
¿Qué ofrezco yo?
Un ambiente relajado, rodeado de naturaleza.
Conversaciones, risas y buena comida casera.
Espacio para desconectar y también para compartir lo que cada persona trae: historias, cultura, música, recetas…
Excursiones,baños o paseos por los alrededores: aquí hay rutas de senderismo, piscinas naturales, pueblos bonitos y mucha tranquilidad.
¿Por qué recibo voluntari@s?
Me gusta la idea de intercambiar experiencias, aprender de otras personas y también enseñar un poco de mi forma de vida aquí. No es solo “ayuda” lo que busco, sino compañía, intercambio cultural y que cada visita deje algo bonito en el lugar.

We're looking for people willing to learn and help with the various tasks required on the plot. Only assistance tasks will be done on the plot, not fruit harvesting for sale.
Buscamos personas dispuestas a aprender y a colaborar en los diferentes trabajos que hay que hacer en la parcela. Solo se harán trabajos de ayuda en la parcela, no de recolección de fruta para vender.

What else ...
We are located at the foot of Europe's second-largest oak forest, between the Jerte Valley and La Vera, north of Cáceres. There are beautiful swimming spots nearby. This is a very peaceful and quiet place, with no roads, cell phone towers, or power lines nearby. The nearest towns are 3 km from the property. A town with all services is 30 minutes away. We have a swimming pool on the property, as well as a small seasonal watercourse. Our own well offers abundant water. We enjoy the vegetation and fauna typical of the mountains. We are vegetarians.
Estamos en las faldas del segundo robledal más grande de europa, entre el valle del Jerte y la Vera, al norte de Cáceres. Hay lugares cercanos muy bonitos para el baño . Lugar muy tranquilo y silencioso, sin carreteras cerca, antenas de telefonía ni cables de alta tensión. Los pueblos más cercanos están a 3km de la finca. Hay una ciudad con todos los servicios a 30 minutos. Tenemos piscina en la propia finca. Y un pequeño curso de agua estacional. Pozo propio con agua abundante. Vegetación y fauna propia de la sierra. Somos vegetarianos .
