  • Description

Hey there I'm Anica and always up for a new adventure!

My love of traveling runs in the family. Growing up i spend lots of vacations hiking, skiing and camping. I love the outdoors, trying everything out and challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone as much as I can.

Usually I spend my freetime being creative, doing sports and meeting up with friends.
Some days reading a book or simply listening to a good story makes me just as happy :)

I'm 19 years old and currently doing a work & travel year in Canada which has been a dream of mine for the longest time.
After finishing the winter season in Whistler I wanna continue traveling. I'm super thankful for all the amazing people I've met so far and very much looking forward to everything that is yet to come.

    Hoping to cu soon, Anica

More details about my language interests
Generally I think it would be cool to speak any language, but to name some I'd be interested in Spanish, Mandarin and Japanese, not in perfection, but on a basic level. I'd also love improving my language skills in french because i have only been able to use it at school so far and already got out of practise. On the other hand, I could easily teach german as it is my native language.

  • More details about your skills

In my free time I love to do persue creative projects, such as drawing, writing or handycrafts. It's always fun to find new ways of solving a problem or realising a new idea.
I also like cooking for and with my family and recently designed a cookbook with a friend of mine.
Living with a very active family i'm used to be outside a lot, whether it may be mountainbiking, ski tours in the alps or hiking the North Coast Trail, I'm always up for a new adventure, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. I have no problem with physical work or getting a little dirty while getting things done and when i start something I'm really determined for a good outcome.
For half a year now, I've been working in a local café now and thus can handel stressful situations. I like working in a team, but have no problem as well managing things on my own, where one can always rely on me.
Of course I probably won't be able to fullfill every task perfectly right at the beginning, but as an curious, open minded and ambitious person, I'm happy to learn. I love to try new things and am grateful for every oportunity and challenge you give me.
