I am interested in cultural exchange. I would like to help teach English language. Last year I worked with Tipi centre Da nang, Vietnam (English language) and Le Văn Tam Primary School, Tuyên Quang, Vietnam. As an experienced artist and educator, my work has taken me to many different countries for work. University Senior Lecturer and Visual Artist. I am able to teach art to all levels with courses and art workshops for all ages. Now I am looking to experience a different aspect to travel and a more local culture and assist others to learn English in a voluntary capacity. In spare time I like cycling, swimming, DIY, cooking and visiting cultural centres. I work hard and like to help others to get the jobs done.

I am a Creative Visual Artist (Painting) and have travelled extensively for work making art on location. As a University Lecturer in Fine Art with very good English skills I have been able to teach all ages. At university worked mainly with adult learners, College learners, Secondary and some special needs making creative workshops and short courses. My main reason for joining workaway is to help teach and improve the use of English and share language skills. I also have very good practical skills; as an artists maker, using tools and materials is second nature and enjoyable.My work as an artist on location has involved many onsite making creative projects over one week to three months. I am fine to help around the estate, gardening, painting and decorating, light construction work. I like cycling, so often find a bike wherever I go to explore. I am a good cook and keen to learn new ingredients and skills in different countries. I am very interested to learn about your language and history so hope we can exchange culture, ideas and aspirations!
