Description
Kia ora! I’m a 34-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand, with a passion for the outdoors, adventure, and meaningful cultural exchange. Before moving to Europe, I lived and worked in Sydney, Australia, where I built my career as a swimming coach. Today, I’m based in Rīga, Latvia, where I run my own swimming coaching business and am also the founder of the Salisbury Spring Foundation, a non-profit initiative focused on improving access to clean drinking water in underserved communities.
With over 10 years of professional swimming coaching experience across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe, I enjoy helping people build confidence, learn new skills, and achieve their goals. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring nature. I love hiking mountains, discovering hidden waterfalls, relaxing at beaches and lakes, swimming, baking, travelling, volunteering, and spending time with animals. One of my favourite parts of travelling is learning about different cultures, hearing people’s stories, and creating lasting friendships.
I’m an easy-going, hardworking, and respectful person who enjoys getting involved wherever I’m needed. Whether it’s helping with gardening, DIY projects, caring for animals, cooking, or simply lending a hand with everyday tasks, I always give my best. For me, Workaway is about much more than accommodation—it’s about sharing experiences, learning from one another, and contributing positively to the communities and people I meet along the way. -
