Hello dear travellers,
I am willing to host an easy going workaway helper to polish up my apartment in Riga end of March / beginning of April 2024.
Help involves flexible hours and schedule but I have listed some tasks below:
The task would be for a week or two. I have been away for some time and now there is a big need to do some big spring clean up/update as i use a part to host guests and some part for leading mediations/doing body practices.
Main tasks:
- to help cleaning and organizing my apartment (washing windows, deep cleaning kitchen etc)
- some technical work - hanging paintings, etc, more advanced work needed to be done too
- painting a large wall mural (creative/art skills might be a big bonus)
- helping to clean/take photos of some second hand and antique stuff i am selling online
- taking care of indoor plants, replanting, watering, arranging
- refreshing some furniture, fixing stuff and other small maintenance work
Some other tasks (cooking/light renovation work) can also happen but I will definitely agree with you before giving you any specific tasks.
I am looking for a cleaning fairy (f/m) with a creative talent and an eye for detail!!!
Lodging in a separate bedroom in RIga hipster area (apartment shared with me), lots of free time to explore Riga, work for 3-4 hours without food or 5 hours with food (we can agree separately).

I arrived in the beginning of the year, in the middle of a freezing January and a lockdown - but despite that the time in Valmiera was really nice!

I was helping renovating the flat while summer... It was super cool! we have a loto of fun with painting it and cleaning together! I've met there amazing workawayers! Baiba is wonderful! She's so sweet and it was fun helping her and the other workawayers fix up the flat. She's very flexible with schedules and as long as you put in good work she'll let you take specific time off if you want it. I would definitely stay with Baiba again :D
