Hello everyone!!! We are Alina and Daniele and we joined workaway because we want to have an all-around experience: to know and discover new places, cultures and people to share our journey with.
We both come from Italy, although from different regions.
I (Alina) was born in Rome and I'm doing my master's degree in cognitive neuroscience. I recently started an internship in the neuropsychological field that allows me to be in close contact with many children and adolescents. I love animals and would like to learn as much as possible about how to care and respect them.
I (Daniele) was born in Montecchio, a town in the Umbrian countryside. Having grown up in the countryside allowed me to develop knowledge and skills in agriculture, and this led me to do manual labor of all kinds for more than two years. After many sacrifices I managed to realize my dream in my drawer and work as a tattoo artist.
Our first experience with workaway it's been in 2023. We spent some months in Norway, during which we learnt many new things on farmlife, animal care, gardening, woodcutting and some building projects.
In our spare time we like to go hiking, camping and when we have the chance travel. We know how to adapt to new things and we're ready to do jobs and activities with motivation and energy. An important goal for us is to learn English better and to be able to make the language our own.
We can't wait to start another adventure!

Alina - I can help with household chores and general maintenance, but most of all I enjoy interacting with and taking care of animals (farm, shelter, pets). I can teach Italian and babysitting too if needed.
Daniele - I can do agricultural activities and manual labor of various kinds (garden care, pruning plants, masonry work, etc.). I can cook and handle household chores, such as what pertains to plumbing and electrical maintenance. In the arts I can play the guitar, draw, paint, sculpt and tattoo.
