What motivates me most is living a simple and meaningful life, connected to nature and people. I grew up in a rural village in Morocco, which helped me develop a strong work ethic, adaptability, and respect for hands-on work.

I have volunteered in different countries, including Indonesia, the UK (England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland), the USA, and Canada, which allowed me to experience different cultures and ways of life. This is my first time using the Workaway platform, and I’m very motivated to start new experiences here, learn from hosts, and contribute positively wherever I stay.

I feel happiest when I am useful and when my work has value. I am reliable, patient, and a fast learner, and I enjoy structured routines and calm environments. I value cultural exchange, human connection, and mutual respect.

I have practical, hands-on skills gained through volunteering, work, and daily life. I grew up in a rural area, where I helped my family with farming, planting, and taking care of animals, which gave me a strong connection to nature and outdoor work.
I am experienced in animal care (feeding, cleaning, and daily care for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, sheep, cows, and rabbits). I am also confident with gardening and farming tasks, such as planting, watering, harvesting, basic pruning, and general land maintenance.
I have done basic building, repairing, and maintenance work, including painting, decorating, simple carpentry, fixing small household issues, cutting wood, and general DIY tasks. I am not a professional builder, but I am reliable, careful, and a fast learner.
I am very good at cleaning, housekeeping, and organizing, and I always work with attention to detail. I also enjoy cooking, especially Moroccan food, and I can help in kitchens or prepare simple, healthy meals (I prefer vegetarian food with fish and eggs).
I have good communication skills, a calm personality, and experience working with different people and cultures. I speak Arabic (native), French, and English (good level), and I am happy to help others practice languages or learn about Moroccan culture.
Overall, I am flexible, motivated, respectful, and happy to help wherever I am needed. I enjoy learning new skills and supporting hosts in their daily life and projects.
