Description
We took over the oldest lodge in Cape Maclear and are renovating it whilst it's open. It is a beautiful village on the lake with lots of activities: swim, scuba, hike etc.

Live in a small fishing village on the shore of lake Malawi and see how locals still make a living fishing etc. You will have use of kayaks as well as the occasional sunset cruise, free of charge.

We can use different types of skills:
Digital marketing to promote the lodge:
Experience with creating Video content will be great but not a must.
Social Media—managing our social media presence on both Facebook and Instagram for the duration of the stay as well as scheduling more posts for afterwards.
We are always looking out for people with skills in
Handyman:
Assisting around the lodge and being able to fix small things and think on your feet. Plummers and Electricians are always welcome.

Accommodation will be in an en-suite room, when available, including 2 meals per day.

Cape Maclear is a beautiful village in Malawi where you will find a tourist mecca right in a fishing village. Interact will guests from over the world.
The most spectacular view of the lake as well as islands around here will take your breath away every morning when you wake up.
You can go for a Swim, snorkel, take up scuba, go on boat trips to island for a BBQ or just relax in your spare time.A little more information

Noleen was great to communicate with beforehand. We first stayed one night at there other lodge in Lilongwe after arriving from Lusaka on a 19 hour bus. Lance fixed 2 leaking pipes at that lodge. We then helped with grocery shopping for the Lodge in Cape McClear but the list… read more
We plannee a holiday with no bookings at the lodge, and before we left, we were suddenly fully booked.
We could not have taken off if he was not here. He totally saved us and was a pleasure to work with and did an amazing job. Beyond what we could ask. You should be lucky if he volunteer by you.
