Adele and Daniel are two absolutely lovely young people. They were great to have around the house, tidy, punctual, fluent in English, responsible with our car, good conversationalists and did terrific work weeding and planting garlic-it is already poking it's head up Daniel. Thank you for visiting and safe travels.

If you are so lucky that these travelers will knock on your door, please let them in. Eike and Gina joined our community in a very stressful time and helped us immensely - both with soooooo many tasks (which they just did to perfection) but also nourishing the community with yummy foods. I don’t know how to fully describe it, but they feel so safe to be around and just really overall good humans. Hope you have great and insightful adventure ahead. You are always welcome here!

Caleb was an absolute pleasure to host! He’s easy-going, has a superb work ethic, and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He made a huge impact on the project during his stay and helped us get so much done. I only hope he visits again one day — highly recommend!

Sebastian and Angelica are so friendly. They were very open and helpful. I have admired their commitment to the project and great visions for this bamboo construction. We also loved this place for the beautiful enviroment. The cabin for volunteers is situated with a view on the jungle, you could feel as you are living in a treehouse! Amazing. Everything is so well-organized and clean. We recommend this place :)

I had a good experience of teaching English during my stay :) Mogi and Mogi did a good welcome to me in the city, they were nice even we don't really talk or share during my stay. teaching English was a really good experience ! I really enjoy, and the kids are very nice ! it's gonna be a magic memory for me during my trip ! don't be afraid to have a class for your own and to prepare the exercises and the class and also the exam. because your are alone with the children and at the beginning it can be a bit difficult. I wanted to spend 2 weeks there, because of the picture of the profile. but I only spend 1 week because it was too much for me. I didn't found the Workaway vibes ! I did a lot of Workaway, and this one was my very first bad experience ! during one week, I didn't share with Mogi, only for class the morning but during 5 minutes. I was waiting a place like the picture of the profile, but not at all ! okay, we went to a mongol camp but only for 30 minutes. and yes, it was the highlight of my stay. I felt it was not really spontaneous, we did a horse riding ( only 10 minutes around the yourt...) thanks to the kids in the camp I really enjoy my moment. at the moment it was so good, and we had a good talk with Mogi in the car where the road is amazing and it was like a dream for me and thank you again for this moment ! the rest of the time, I was alone. there is small hills as they told you close to the flat. but it's nothing and full of pollution. I needed to walk almost 3 hours to see the landscape of the profile. I didn't came to Mongolia to stay in a big city.you living in a (very good) flat, with all equipments and that's very good. I felt like more like renting a airbnb than sharing with people in Workaway because I was feeling really alone in this flat, in this city where there is nothing to do. I didn't felt good . I felt like they just need an English teacher. no human connection. and for the end, they didn't said "thank you" or "goodbye" when I left.

It’s been a pleasure working with and receiving Sonja on the land. She is easy going, tolerant of simple living conditions, a great cook and nice company. She also is curious and flexible. Thank you, Sonja 😊

I spent 4 weeks with Rachel and Norman and it was an amazing experience! Rachel and Norman are an open minded, easygoing and beautiful people and they have a lovely family (I met their sons and I spent lovely time with them as well); I felt at home from day one. The work was never too heavy (actually I felt like I never worked!), I worked for 4 hours per day (weekend off) and Rachel and Norman always made sure I didn't work for longer. I helped Rachel in her beautiful garden (I did some weeding, pruning, potting, planting and other manual jobs around the garden and the green house), she taught me a lot of things about gardening and plants and I really appreciated it. I appreciated a lot Norman's delicious dinners (he is a MasterChef), we often laughed about the fact that we had different traditions about food and I tried to pass a bit of my Italianness (remember, try to follow the rules please 😂😂😂). I also appreciated our conversations at dinner time (they helped me a lot with my english), we used to play board games after dinner and watch tv series/movie. I played at least 10 new board games (special mention to Ticket to Ride) and I never won, Rachel and Norman were unbeatable! In conclusion, I highly recommend Rachel and Norman as hosts! Thank you so much for everything you taught me, for the laughs, for your beautiful family and for the good times that we spent together! I'm going to miss you and I hope to see you again! Ciao ❤️

We have hosted nahuel twice now, each time for about a week, and that alone says a lot – we were very happy to welcome him back. He is a genuinely friendly, open-minded and curious young person who quickly became part of our daily life. He was always willing to help, motivated to take on new tasks, and showed real interest in what was going on around him. Living together was easy and enjoyable. We appreciated his positive attitude, his curiosity, and the many good conversations we shared. He is respectful, easy-going, and simply a pleasure to have around. Thank you for spending time with us and for all your help. You are always welcome back, and we wish you all the best for your future travels and adventures!

Mike and I had a great week with Cristina and GB. We learned a lot about growing vines and the work involved in producing grapes. Even though Cristina was very busy, she made us feel welcome and we had lots of great chats. We loved the accommodation, the area, which we would never have gone to if it wasn't for the workaway, and being with the dogs. We were very impressed with the steps they have taken to being sustainable. Thank you both for a great first workaway experience.

I spent one month at Nimbu during the rainy season and honestly had such a great experience. My role was mainly taking photos of the hotel and sometimes photos for the guests as well. Even though Theresa wasn’t there in person during my stay, the communication was always super smooth, clear and easy. The whole hotel staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the atmosphere really special from day one. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful and truly unique — perfect if you’re looking for somewhere calm, surrounded by nature, while still being close to the surf spots. And special mention for the breakfasts… seriously so good ahah. I genuinely loved my time there and left with really good memories.

As my first Workaway experience I couldn't have asked for better, Anja and Harald are such kind and interesting people and I loved spending time by such a beautiful lake. I will especially miss the meals we all prepared and shared together-there was never a dull moment! the work was also really reasonable and felt even better in such a fun environment. thank you so much for such a memorable time! :)

Linda and Phil are some of the coolest people we've stayed with yet! Laura and I spent two weeks with them in the Bitterroot Mountains this past month. We got to live out of their cute travel trailer and work at our own pace. We cleaned out the barn, helped disassemble Phil's once-magnificent greenhouse, and mowed the lawn many times over. We had plenty of free time to putter around the big ol' mountains right next door, and we were allowed to use the ATV's whenever we pleased. We especially enjoyed Linda's cooking (she makes lots of good Mexican food!) and Phil's crazy stories. Linda and Phil are great hosts should you get the chance to stop by.

Hosting Kathi this past spring has been an absolute delight, and we cannot say enough great things about her. She brings a bright, positive outlook in everything she does. No matter the task at hand, she approaches it with a smile and a genuine desire to help. She was proactive, reliable, and went above and beyond to ensure everything she worked on during her stay was done beautifully. We are so incredibly grateful for all the time, effort, and care she has put in to our space and projects. She is also a very kind and respectful person to share a home and conversations with day to day. We would without a doubt recommend her to any hosts on here. We send you our warmest wishes for your next adventures and know you will always have a place here, you are welcome back anytime!

Ramón was our first Workawayer, and he made this experience something truly special. With his knowledge about Mexico, he really impressed us, and we were able to learn a lot about his country and culture. My daughter was also able to improve her Spanish with him. He always completed the tasks quickly and diligently, as he has a sharp understanding and excellent observational skills. We can highly recommend Ramón and would be very happy to see him again one day.

I spent about two weeks with Yuho, Shota, Ai-chan and the other volunteers. It was exactly what I was looking for; the countryside was beautiful and calming and the company was wonderful. Yuho and Shota are so welcoming and kind, and little Ai-chan definitely taught me some Japanese! I wish I could have stayed for longer but I’ll definitely be back!
