I really enjoyed my stay with Jo! She was super welcoming and generous, helping me out with lifts and providing all my food. I could choose what I wanted to do for work and I didn’t have to do too many hours. Otautau is quite a quiet place but a good spot to relax and take a break from intense travelling.

Nimo is truly one of the best Workaway hosts I have ever had. From the very beginning, she was my number one supporter and did everything she could to make sure I had an amazing time in Sydney. She is a loving mother and an incredibly strong and inspiring woman who always puts others before herself. Another thing I really appreciated was how fair and well-organized the working schedule was. My tasks were always clearly explained, reasonable, and never too much. The working hours were flexible and well balanced, which gave me plenty of free time to discover Sydney, meet new people, and enjoy my stay to the fullest. Nimo was always understanding and considerate, making sure that I felt comfortable with the workload and the schedule. During my stay, I felt incredibly welcome and completely comfortable in her home and with her family. They always respected my privacy when I needed some time for myself, but they were also there for me whenever I wanted to talk or spend time together. Nimo never expected too much from me and always treated me with kindness, fairness, and appreciation. Uzzy is a very well-behaved and sweet child, and it was a joy to spend time with him. Overall, it was not just a stay, but a truly enriching and unforgettable experience. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend her as a host. I would also be very happy to come back after my three weeks on the East Coast to continue supporting her and her family.

It was an absolute pleasure to host Louis for a little more than two weeks. He is friendly, easy going and very polite . Louis fitted easily into our life here with lots of different tasks and activities. We experienced Louis as curious and open minded, always happy to give different tasks a try. I definitely recommend him to other hosts and wish him well for the remainder of his trip.

I feel so lucky to have lovely Workawayers like Noa. Noa will fit into any situation as he is very respectful, honest , and quiet and joyful. Always wears a genuine smile. Noa has left as he got a job quite a distance away from me but I have told him he can visit anytime for a catch-up and a cuddle from Django as he loved him even experienced bathing my dog and helping us yarding & drenching huge big rams although we kept Noa at a safe distance he loved working with animals. May your work be fun Noa. GG

We helped with IT related things on his laptop, like replying to emails, writing flyers asking for donations, and help with writing different texts for posters in the museum. I think this is really important work to make sure and the museum get enough donations to ensure the demiming team can continue working in safety. The accomodation was also good with a big private room, and private bathroom. The other people around the museum are all friendly. Please help this place if you can and if you have the time, to make Cambodia safe from landmines. Even a few hours of volunteering is really helpfull, so if you have limited time, you don't need to stay one or more nights.

Claire and Henry are two of the most helpful, practical and friendly people you could meet. They are an absolute dream team - working together to get jobs done quickly and effectively, to a high standard. With Henry’s building experience and their collective DIY skills they were able to help us with some skilled building work during the week they stayed. They also helped out with babysitting our toddler, accompanying him to Playcenter and pitched in proactively with housework and cleaning. They were fantastic company and made the most of their time in our little town - even catching our dinner a few times with their fishing and diving 😊 We would happily host them again anytime!

My Workaway experience with this family was absolutely amazing. They are all wonderful people. They were incredibly patient with me, especially regarding the language barrier. They were always very clear about my tasks and responsibilities, which mainly included vacuuming, picking up Calixte from school, helping with light housework, and simply sharing quality time with them. It was honestly very hard to leave after staying for such a long period. We truly connected and shared so many great moments. I highly recommend this host if you are looking to improve your French or want to experience the authentic lifestyle of a French family. The family members are all unique: Calixte is a very special person. He loves board games and will patiently correct your French every time. He is also very competitive, so don't expect him to let you win at basketball! Axel is a young man with great potential. He enjoys playing chess and the drums; he is passionate about everything he does and always looks for a way to connect with others. Messalyne is an excellent cook and an incredible mother (who will definitely tease you if you button your shirt wrong!). Jeremie is a true gentleman, always up for a good conversation, helping you discover new things, and capturing interesting moments through his photography. I’m so grateful for this time together.

I stay 1 week in the caravan where has a big space for more than 2ppl. I could cook as well with every kind of kitchen tools, even there were air-frier. When you just walked around there, lovely dog named Django will follow you. Then there are various animals, as like horse and sheeps and cats! We sometimes had a meal together and watching a funy TV series. I miss her crustini. She gave me a lot of veg and fruits, that was soooo fresh! Even though it was just a one week, I will remember this good memories for a long time.

I had a wonderful time in the Bay of Islands with Konny, Stefan and 2 other Workawayers for a bit more than two weeks. They made me feel completely comfortable around their property and it was really exciting to participate in their fantastic project. There are plenty of ways to help them, including taking care of their adorable dogs, sheep, and chickens. Spending time with them and sharing delicious food they prepared every day was a pleasure, I would surely recommend the entire experience :)

We had a wonderful time with Victor. Surrounded by nature, far away from the tourist hustle and bustle, we were able to put our craftsmanship skills to the test and try our hand at new things. Whenever we needed help, Victor was always there to assist us. We will miss the many interesting conversations, the comfortable atmosphere and, above all, the wonderful breakfast. Thank you so much for everything!!! :))))

We loved our week with Rosie in this beautiful , peaceful location. Rosie was very welcoming and helpful and never asked us to do anything we were uncomfortable with. We helped with weeding in the vegetable garden removing pine saplings from the forest which had sprouted following last years fires. We enjoyed it so much we are planning another workaway during our travels.

Thank you from my heart for your beautiful words and for the time we shared together. It was truly a pleasure to welcome you and your home on wheels in our small Bedouin neighborhood. Your presence was kind, respectful, and full of positive energy. I am happy that you could experience the desert not only as visitors, but as part of the daily life — sharing tea, simple moments, work, and the quiet nights under the desert sky. Witnessing the birth of the lamb together was also a special moment that we will always remember. I also deeply appreciate your help and support, and your genuine interest in our culture and way of life. You were not just guests, but friends, and my door and the desert will always be open for you. I wish you safe travels and many beautiful adventures ahead. You will always have a place here in Wadi Rum. Warm greetings from the desert, Ahmad

Ella and Niamh we're excellent workaways I would recommend them highly to anybody looking for some good responsible people. They took great care of my dogs and parrot and I was very happy with the communication and photos that they sent me while I was gone. They were excellent guests and great company to have around.

It was truly a pleasure hosting Pamela. She stayed with us for a few months, and her contribution was invaluable. She easily adapts to carrying out different tasks in the best possible way. She is quick and well-organized in everything she does, and she always brings great enthusiasm. She is a very honest and selfless person, always ready to lend a helping hand. We shared many wonderful moments, and she will always be welcome here with us.

I had the most wonderful first ever Workaway experience in Dunedin with the O'Callaghan family. They were so kind and welcoming to me and I loved my week being a part of their family and enjoying all the fun hanging out with them. Communication was easy from the beginning and Nina was great in setting easy tasks to be done each day mainly lighthouse work and gardening and cleaning up after meals. I really enjoyed all my time with the adorable children, Paddy , Scarlett and Joe and we had great fun doing puzzles ,playing card games ,reading bedtime stories as they educated me about the songs and dance moves that seven-year-olds are now into, it was all so much fun. Bede was so kind with lifts to the city and I even got to go to a professional rugby match which was a real thrill. Dunedin is a great base and there's lots to do and see. I particularly enjoyed Tunnel Beach, Saint Claire's beach and pool, The Taieri gorge railway trip, The settlers museum, Larnach Castle and downtown Dunedin. I used the buses with great ease and really enjoyed going on the train journey through the Taieri Gorge. The caravan was very comfortable to sleep in . I highly recommend staying with this lovely family and will treasure my memories of a great week with them in Dunedin. Thanks to all 5 of you for making it such a wonderful experience.🥰

The workaway experience with Salome was really good, so I highly recommend this french girl because she is a very resourceful and determined girl, capable of getting busy and learning quickly! I got a very positive opinion of Salome, because she helped me a lot to arrange the branches in the garden, after pruning, and also to keep the garden and the access path clean, in short I highly recommend the good Salome for anyone who is looking for a workawayer able to help in outdoor tasks as well as at home, in a cheerful and spontaneous way! This workaway collaboration experience with Salome was simply perfect and amazing, because she really is an incredible and willing person. Starting from the very beginning, she was punctual and respectful of the house from the very beginning, and above all we had a great dialogue from the very beginning, also with many passions in common including music, good food (especially my pasta dishes, but also our nice breakfasts) and of course nature, which Salome enjoyed very much both in my plot and from my terrace, which filled me with joy. But besides having a lot of fun together, we also worked quite hard, and Salome was very good, because even though she's a young girl she's really very determined and diligent in her work, and never complains. She helped me clear the whole access path to the house: she helped me a lot and she was really good and always worked really hard, and then she also quickly has removed all the weeds from the path to the house. In addition to this, she helped me in a totally eco-friendly way. Lastly, she was very supportive all the time. In short, an irreplaceable help and a tireless companion throughout her stay! The highlight was being able to enjoy the sunset every day together, when around six o'clock we stopped working in the garden and could enjoy the colours of nature and the beautiful view of the sea from my terrace among the olive trees. She was also very good at washing the dishes almost every day, even though I never asked her to, and it was very nice to enjoy so many delicious dinners together, always listening to lots of music that we put on! We enjoyed making appetisers, and because we worked a lot, we always arrived hungry at dinner and could enjoy this exquisite time, eating typical Italian dinners, especially. To sum up, it was an exclusively positive experience, both as a workawayer but also as a new friendship. In fact, we got on very well, which I was very pleased, so we also had the chance to enjoy our friendship in the beauty of this region, in this beautiful area that is the Tuscan Maremma. And last but not least, she kept me amazing company, and it was really wonderful to be able to share time as friends with Salome, who is a pleasant person with whom I never tire of talking and with whom you can share many special experiences. It's really a pleasure for me to be able to introduce this beautiful area to workawayers from various parts of Europe and the world, and with Salome in particular I was always really at ease, both as a workaway collaboration and as a sincere friendship! Above all expectations, truly a positive experience. So I highly recommend Salome as a workawayer, to anyone who might be interested in her collaboration, because she really is a great girl and a tireless and sensitive worker, with an endless love for nature and animals. A great help to me, and a wonderful person, who loves nature with all her heart! So esteemed Salome, I hope you will come back soon to visit and help me here on the farm, so you can see how the work is progressing here, especially in the soil. Thank you again for everything and I look forward to seeing you soon! With great esteem and many fond memories :) "Turtlina vibes!" I-renzo

This experience was truly extraordinary. If you’re passionate about the ocean and wildlife, this is absolutely for you. Having the opportunity to visit Coiba so many times and learn from such experienced guides made me feel incredibly lucky. Every trip was a chance to deepen my knowledge and appreciation for marine life. On top of that, I was welcomed into an amazing team made up of both local and international people. It’s also a great opportunity to practice your Spanish, as many of the local guides don’t speak English. Santa Catalina itself is a beautiful place, especially if you love small communities and laid-back surf towns. After just a few days, you start recognizing people, greeting each other on the street, and feeling part of the community. Everyone is genuinely friendly and open. It’s important to mention that this experience isn’t only about joining the excursions. You’ll also help in the office with administrative tasks and keeping things tidy and organized. This is not for someone who just wants to enjoy boat trips; it’s for proactive people who truly want to contribute and be part of a team. That means helping with dishes, cleaning up, staying flexible, and supporting wherever needed. If you’re passionate about the ocean and willing to give as much as you receive, this experience will be incredibly rewarding. I already dream of coming back one day...
