Description
Hello there!
We’re Ella and Niamh, two sisters from Ireland. Although we grew up in Dublin, we feel most at home in nature and have spent much of our lives traveling around Ireland and Europe. We come from a sporty, active, and environmentally conscious background, and sustainability is something we’ve always valued. We also both have 5+ years of experience in hospitality and are no strangers to hard work!
After receiving a full basketball scholarship to TU Dublin, I (Ella) completed a BSc Hons in Environmental Health and promptly moved to Canada. I spent a year in Vancouver exploring its stunning landscapes and building long-lasting friendships, before relocating to Whistler—a ski town where I took up snowsports.
During this time, Niamh finished secondary school and spent the past year working and completing a pre-nursing course. With my work visa coming to an end, and Niamh taking a break before starting her nursing degree, we decided this was the perfect opportunity to travel together.
We are both health conscious active people, with a passion for anything kitchen related, it's normally where you'll find us at home. We grew up playing basketball to a high level in particular Ella who played for Ireland for 8 years and Gaelic Football. We are excited about the hiking Central America has to offer and exploring the beautiful landscapes in general. Playing competitive team sports and starting work at 15 taught us to work hard, both independently and as a team, and we try to carry that mindset through all aspects of life.
We also enjoy winding down by relaxing and having a laugh with friends, reading and of course cooking a childhood favourite !
We’re excited to journey through Central America, meet locals, and immerse ourselves in different cultures. We’re easygoing, hardworking, and happy to help wherever needed—from outdoor projects to community work or day-to-day tasks. We love learning by doing, and we’re eager to contribute while sharing this adventure together.
