    Description

A coastal dream where the Pacific meets the Adriatic…

    Meaning
    - “wind” in Croatian. It represents movement, freedom, and the connection between two oceans: the Pacific, where I was born, and the Adriatic, where my heritage comes from. This is the symbolic wind that brings both worlds together.

This place is the dream of a man who grew up by the Pacific Ocean and carries the Adriatic in his blood. It is a project born from two coasts, two histories, and one desire: to create a place where both oceans meet, symbolically and emotionally.

Here in Pichilemu, this place carries touches of the Croatian and Dalmatian Adriatic. One day, in Croatia, this place will carry the spirit of the Pacific back to the Adriatic. This is the beginning of that journey.

This is a peaceful space near the ocean, surrounded by trees, wildflowers, bougainvilleas, papaya plants, cactaceae, succulents, and native Chilean species. Volunteers help shape a place that blends design, nature, cultural exchange, and the calm rhythm of the coast.

You will not be just a volunteer. You will be part of a small and welcoming community of collaborators. Ideas are valued here. Creativity is essential.

    WHAT YOU CAN HELP WITH
    • Landscaping and creating natural paths
    • Garden care, watering and plant health
    • Caring for native species, bougainvilleas and papaya trees
    • Simple carpentry such as shelves, benches, planters and deck details
    • Painting and small maintenance tasks
    • Organizing the workshop container
    • Creating outdoor corners and relaxing spaces
    • Taking photos for listings
    • Proposals for nature-driven ideas such as a greenhouse, plant beds, herbs and flowers

    ACCOMMODATION
You will stay in the existing house or a small volunteer cabin, depending on availability. The property is calm, safe, spacious and close to the ocean. You can hear the waves at night, and Punta de Lobos is within walking distance.

For those who enjoy a more immersive nature experience, you may sleep outdoors in a tent under the pine trees, with the sound of the ocean at night. There is also a hammock between the pines for resting, reading or enjoying the coastal breeze.

A bicycle is available for your use, which makes it easy to move around the area and explore Pichilemu and Punta de Lobos.

    CULTURAL EXCHANGE
This project welcomes languages, food, music, ideas, Croatian and Chilean stories, and respectful teamwork. If you enjoy nature, design, creativity and contributing to something with purpose, you will feel at home here.

    CURRENT STAGE OF THE PROJECT
The project is in an active development phase. I am working with a construction team, along with professionals in architecture, landscaping, electrical work, design and interior styling. I am selecting materials, textures, Pantone colors, terrace design, hot tubs and outdoor furniture suitable for the coastal environment.

Although the project is growing, volunteers and guests are already welcome. The main house has excellent references from its time on Couchsurfing, hosting travelers from many parts of the world.

    PRACTICAL DETAILS
    • 4 to 5 hours per day, 5 days per week
    • Flexible schedule and clear daily agreements
    • Please share your available dates and the skills you would like to bring

The project is still young, so every small contribution matters.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Volunteers will stay in a peaceful natural setting just a few minutes from the ocean.
Depending on availability, accommodation may include a private room or a cozy camping space under beautiful old cypress trees. The atmosphere is very safe and quiet, with open skies and space to relax. You’ll also have access to a hot tub, outdoor cinema, stand-up paddle boards, and shared common areas to chill or connect with other guests.
The space will keep evolving as the project grows, offering more comforts step by step.

Workawayers will enjoy a European–Chilean style breakfast with coffee, tea, fresh fruit, bread, eggs, cold cuts, jam, butter, milk, honey and cereals. For lunch and dinner we’ll have homemade, healthy and varied meals, often with fresh local ingredients like vegetables, rice, pasta, fish or meat.
Whenever possible we’ll share meals together as part of the cultural exchange, and on the days when I’m not around, there will always be ingredients in the kitchen so you can prepare your own meals and still feel at home.
