We are the Luke, Clair, Irenie, Oliver and Elliot. We love having travellers come and join our family for a while. We get to learn new things about different cultures (we have had both German and Danish themed Christmas's so far) and we love showing off our beautiful rural part of Australia. Our past guests are part of our extended family, we still keep in touch and they all are happy to talk to prospective guests about us!
We live in the Southern part of Australia, in the state of Victoria. We live in the country in a place called Undera, around 2 1/2 hours north of Melbourne, the capital city. Our nearest large town is Shepparton (population 30,000) which is 20 minutes drive away. Please Google "Shepparton", so that you get to know where we are in respect to Australian Capital cities.
We are a hobby farm that always has small jobs that need to be done by some willing workaway people. Different tasks will be offered depending on the time of year. We have beef cattle, raise calves and also have a small orchard.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
We love helping people improve their English, and love showing them around our area.
Hi everyone, we are looking for helpers.
We live on our farm (40 hectares) where we raise beef cows and grow hay. We have two gorgeous dogs who live mainly outside, and a friendly cat who go wherever he wants. We also have a house orchard, and chickens which require daily looking after.
We are looking for someone/couple to help clean up our garden for us. We will supply everything, but need labour to get it done.
Unfortunately we cannot sign off on time towards a second year visa.
We can host two people / couple with tasks including house keeping, gardening, basic orchard/farm help, and tutoring.
We value honesty, creativity, fun, good humour, "can do" attitude and love of nature. If this sound like you, then I think you would fit in great!
Hope to hear from you soon.
