    Description

Our beautiful 15 acre property is located 40 minutes south of Hobart in the Huon Valley. We have a cosy cabin for workawayers to sleep in. You will need your own car to get here.
The small rustic cabin is very comfortable. It has 2 single beds and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a separate bathroom and shower.
The Huon Valley is famous for food, wine and cider production. It is a beautiful part of Tasmania, well worth exploring!
We need help on our property to manage weeds, do general landscaping, wood chopping and general home maintenance. Our property attracts an abundance of native wildlife including wallabies, bandicoots, potoroos, tassie devils and a diverse range of birds. We have a beautiful flowing creek for swimming in and relaxing near.
We really enjoy meeting people, playing music, gardening, bushwalking, hitting the beach, camping and sharing meals with friends. We have 3 children aged 8, 14 and 17. We request that our guests do not smoke or do drugs while staying.
We ask that you help for 3 hours per day and in exchange for staying. You will need to cater for yourself.
We look forward to sharing time with you.

As we have lived in many parts of Australia (particularly in the NT) we can offer you advice on great places to visit. Our family life is full of noise and activity (as you can imagine with 3 boys!). When possible, we will welcome you to be involved in our family activities such as visiting friends, day trips to nice places etc.
