I am a lecturer and my husband is a banker. We live in Maros. We provide a room in our home in Maros, a small town next to Makassar, close to the airport.
I have 2 places where the travelers can volunteer. The first one is my campus, Bosowa where the travelers can teach English to my students.
The travellers can interact with Indonesians a lot, they may even learn Indonesian Language. They will eat Indonesian food everyday and learn to cook it. Here, we have 2 big ethnic groups, Buginese and Makassarese with a lot of cultures which can only be found in Makassar.
