Hi there, thanks for your interest. My wife and I have a small farm and restaurant which we would like some help with. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a small but busy family-run farm which requires a non-smoking couple (or two friends) to help with our day to day operations.

You will get the chance to savour some fantastic Scottish food and recipes from our kitchen, while engaging with our fun and supportive team. They are Scottish so having a basic level of English may help to understand them but hopefully your English will improve by spending time with them all. We all sit down for dinner most nights and are always happy to encourage and advise you on how to explore and enjoy the local area and Scotland as a whole. We also provide bikes to do just so.
We require an enthusiastic couple (or two friends) to come along and give us a hand. There will be a variety of tasks depending on your skills and our needs e.g. feeding animals, collecting wood, gardening, maintenance and, most importantly, cleaning. You must be happy to clean dishes, floors and toilets. We also have a small baby, born in October 2017, so if you have some experience with little ones then that might be useful too. No matter what the skill, attribute or knowledge you bring, you MUST absolutely love animals, as we have a few furry friends living inside too!
Also we are willing to negotiate the hours you help each week to allow you an opportunity to travel for longer and further afield.
You will have a bedroom with a shared bathroom and toilet. There are two single beds in this room which can be pulled together if you are together. All meals are provided.
Our Farm is located within the Loch Lomond National park. In such an area of outstanding natural beauty there is much to do for the outdoor-loving and adventurous of spirit (fishing, swimming, kayaking, hill walking and mountaineering, to name but a few). The Farm is 4 miles from Helensburgh where railway links will connect you with the rest of the country. Glasgow is only 40 minutes away and to the North, there is of course the Highlands of Scotland. There is a regular bus service that passes nearby, however, to allow our volunteers greater freedom, we shall provide cycle bikes (there is a cycle path right outside the farm) which will enable you easy access to the railway station, Loch Lomond (1 mile away) and beyond.
