    Description

Originally from Scotland (Katherine) and Germany (Lawrence) we have lived in the Cowichan for many years. Children include 9-year-old Selina, lover of dramatic arts and people and grown-up children who come and go. Two other small families live on our property, as well as two cats and a dog. My husband and I both work full time - Lawrence is in management for a construction company, I am in administration at our local Waldorf school. (We have worked for many years in Camphill Communities in Europe and in Canada).
We would like to find help in maintaining our lovely rural property. Our values include conservation, care for the environment, organic practices, creating beauty and enjoying life with family and friends and the abundance our valley has to offer.

We live in an exceptionally beautiful part of the world. The Transcanada trail is 5 minutes walk from us and gives endless possibility for biking and hiking. The lovely Cowichan River is a short distance away and popular for summer swimming. Lakes are also not far away. The Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island offers a wealth of culture, including slow villages, fishing, hiking, kayaking, local food and wine and lots of music and art.
