    Description

Set in a stunning location in the mountains of the Lake District in the North West of England where Wordsworth wrote some of his famous poems. We can accommodate up to 2 helpers assisting our friendly, young international core team. The staff are welcoming and are happy to show you around and give you any advice.

As a hotel, we are always looking for people who can help us with food service, housekeeping and bar work. There may be other areas that you can apply your skills and interests such as building maintenance, woodland clearing & gardening if we are currently working on any projects.

We are currently building new staff quarters so prefer work-aways who come with their own van or camper which can be parked on site. We can then offer a shared bathroom and kitchen for workers. We also pay for your time working with us. Usually, we can offer between 20 - 35 hours of paid work per week, depending on the season.

There are innumerable walks from the door in the valleys and mountains, with waterfalls and lakes within walking distance. We have truly beautiful gardens, and woodland to enjoy at the property, if you are interested in gardening, plants and flowers or wish to draw or paint landscapes then you will be spoilt here!
We are 10 minutes walk from Grasmere village where there are good transport links for further exploring the area. There are also local shops here such as a supermarket, pharmacy, cafes & restaurants.

We look forward to hearing from you and providing further information.
