Set in a stunning location in the mountains of the Lake District in the North West of England. A romantic’s paradise – Wordsworth wrote some of his famous poems in our woods. We can accommodate up to 4 helpers assisting our friendly, young international core team. The staff are welcoming and are happy to help you practice your English if you like.
There are innumerable walks from the door in the valleys and mountains, with waterfalls and lakes within walking distance. We have truly beautiful gardens, and woodland to enjoy at the property, if you are interested in gardening, plants and flowers or wish to draw or paint landscapes then you will be spoilt here!
We are 10 minutes walk from Grasmere village where there are good transport links for further exploring the area.
We are always looking for people who can help us with food service, housekeeping, maintenance and building, gardening, cooking and bar work. We are also undergoing renovation work which we need some help with.
We offer a private room in a converted barn at the rear of the property, a staff living room and kitchen to prepare your own food or the food provided.
We look forward to hearing from you and providing further information.
