Open to receiving a longer term teacher at this time. One one minimum stay please.

Not required but a bonus: If you have any skills in marketing or website development to help me with a few business goals. We have a beautiful and brand new space. Photos are not even available yet as construction is still in process but ..... essentially we have built two vacation villas. They are not yet up for rent (not that many people are traveling at the moment anyways) but my thought would be to have teacher live in the new villa and have a teaching space set up there. I am only currently open to taking someone who is taking their health and the current situation with covid seriously.

I am primarily seeking people with teaching experience and who are open to staying at least one month at a time. Generally you will teach the kids from 8-12 and then the rest of the day is yours.

We are a family who is seeking support in homeschooling our two children. We have lived in Costa Rica for 16 years now. We travel between Canada and Costa Rica each year. We have a nice, big beautiful home on Playa Preciosa (or Platanares) which is an easy bike ride to Puerto Jimenez. We own a sport fishing business here and I need some support in assisting my children with homeschooling.

I have a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 11th grade. I have all the materials and books necessary. I need someone to follow through, plan, teach and do the work with my children. I would like for people to stay at the minimum one month at a time.

There is always something to do at our place whether it is with the kids, yard, cleaning a vehicle, washing a few dishes or even just taking a dog for a walk on the beach. I can accommodate up to two people.

Could also be a bonus: Someone who may be able to do some surf photography or help us create a surf video for our son. Or someone with skills in website building or small business marketing.

We are a kind and generous family. We do a lot of outdoor activities. Culturally you are not really immersed in Costa Rican culture at our home, but nevertheless there is always some Spanish spoken with neighbors and friends etc.
You will be in an amazing location with a pristine beach for long walks and immersion in a natural paradise. Look forward to disconnecting and just being in tune with the environment.

I have two children. Tosh who is 16 years old and going into 11th grade. Kaya who is 11 years old and is in 6th grade. I am originally from Canada. My husband and I operate a sport fishing charter out of Puerto Jimenez, Osa Peninsula. I need support in homeschooling the children so that I can also focus on my other responsibilities of running the family business.

Please be honest.. if you do not feel you are capable of teaching then please don't contact me as it hinders my children's quality of education.

We have a very nice guest room with a double bed. Patio doors, small deck out back. The house is spacious, open air style but all bedrooms are closed, nice fans, furnishings etc. Our family sleeps upstairs so you have the main floor to yourself after dinner. I cannot offer you all of your meals as it will be too much of an economic strain on my family. I will often share and offer and you are welcome to all the basics in the home such as condiments, sugar, coffee, salt, pepper, rice, beans, etc etc. but I cannot feel responsible for all meals for one or two other people. I am very welcoming and we are easy going and laid back but I also do not want to feel taken advantage of. I need you to please use common sense in regards to cleanliness and cleaning up after yourself. I do have a maid come a few days per week in the mornings but at the same time please clean and wash your dishes and just help to keep the home nice. I am learning as I go with this as well so let's please just be open and clear about expectations etc. I am sure each work away experience and each individual will be very different and I am open to taking the positive from each situation. At the same time we do all have to live together so we have to communicate openly and be respectful.
