Description
I plant vegetables and fruits in an old meadow of 2.5 hectares in Villevêque, Rives su Loir en Anjou, transformed into a kind of garden-forest. There are four vegetable patchs.
It's located in front of the farmhouse where I live with my family (our 3 children live elsewhere). I organize events like workshops or readings and concerts.
I've got a wooden trailer with available books in it. I would like to improve and extend it.
Je cultive des arbres fruitiers et des légumes dans une ancienne prairie de 2,5 hectares à Villevêque, Rives du Loir en Anjou, transformée en une sorte de jardin-forêt. Il y a quatre planches potagères.
Elle se situe devant la longère où je vis avec ma famille (nos 3 enfants habitent ailleurs). J'organise des évènements comme des ateliers de cuisine ou des lectures et des concerts.
J'ai une roulotte en bois avec des livres disponibles dedans. J'aimerais la transformer et l'aménager. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We were able to discover the landscapes of the Loir - natural meadows flooded in winter bordered by ash woods -, discuss the practices of permaculture, read and write. I have also taught German for a long time and would be delighted to pass on the desire to learn French.
On put découvrir les paysages du Loir - prairies naturelles inondées l'hiver bordées de bois de frênes -, échanger sur les pratiques de la permaculture, lire et écrire. J'ai par ailleurs enseigné l'allemand pendant longtemps et serais ravie de transmettre l'envie d'apprendre le français. -
Help
The trailer needs repairs (the railing is broken and the entire hull needs to be repainted). All the garden due to the season.
La roulotte a besoin de réparations (la balustrade est cassée et il faut repeindre toute la coque). Tous les travaux de jardinage sont à faire selon saison. -

J'aime la littérature, allemande en particulier (Christa Wolf, Handke, Hein, Herta Müller...) et je m'intéresse à la culture des pays de l'Europe de l'est J'ai été professeure pendant 20 ans dans l'Education Nationale et me réjouis d'associer l'apprentissage d'une langue à la permaculture. -
Accommodation
A large bedroom upstairs with bathroom and toilet downstairs is available. The bedroom was restored in spring 2020 (paint insulation) and is separated from the house by a partition.

Une grande chambre à l'étage avec salle de bain et toilettes en bas est disponible. La chambre a été restaurée au printemps 2020 (isolation + peinture) et se trouve séparée de la maison par une cloison.

What else ...
I have a kangoo vehicle that I lend if needed. Angers is 18 km from the locality and accessible by bus. You can hike at will on the paths, swim in the Loir or in the Nordic pool by the swimming pool (Aqua Vita Angers), go to the cinema (les 400 Coups), make jams / pastries ...
J'ai un véhicule kangoo que je prête si besoin. Angers est à 18 km du lieu-dit et accessible en bus. On peut randonner à volonté sur les chemins, nager dans le Loir ou dans le bassin nordique de la piscine (Aqua Vita Angers), aller au cinéma (les 400 Coups), faire des confitures/pâtisseries... -
