Description
We are two families who bought a small homestead together outside of Gothenburg. We have enjoyed working together and growing our farm and families together for 6 years. Each family has three young children, which doesn't leave much time for all the projects we dream of getting done around the farm :)
We have four sheep, a flock of chickens, a cat, and a garden that we keep expanding.
We have a newly renovated guest house on our property with a bathroom, kitchen, and two bedrooms where our guests can stay comfortably. We can also offer access to a sauna.
Our farm is located in a beautiful valley about 30 minutes from both Gothenburg and Borås. Public transportation is available about 4 km away, with regular buses into town. We also have several swimming lakes nearby that can be reached by bike or car. We live right on the edge of a forest with trails for walking and running. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We will be around the farm to answer questions and help out with projects when we can. We speak Swedish, English and some Spanish. Gothenburg is a great city to explore and has great restaurants, shows, amusement parks or bars and is accessible from the busstop (3-4 km away) Bikes are available to borrow during the stay.

Help
We are looking for someone interested in helping us with a variety of projects around the farm, such as chopping wood, painting houses, gardening, landscaping, small DIY projects, and general outdoor tasks. Sometimes we'll work side by side, sharing skills and ideas, while other tasks you'll complete independently at your own pace.
We already have many ideas and projects in mind, but we are also open to the skills, ideas, and interests that our guests bring. We enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and hope you'll feel like part of the family during your stay, sharing everyday life, meals, and experiences along the way. -

Accommodation
We offer a guesthouse with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. The cottage has a beautiful view, and a little patio to enjoy the morning coffee on. It also has a wood stove and a small living room.
Depending on the preference of the guest we will either provide you with groceries or meals. We would be happy to share a meal with guests but would not be eating together everyday. -
