Description
We are an elder couple 60 and 70 years old. We need help for the renovation of an old house. We offer accomodation, bicycles (maybe even pedelec), sightseeing, maybe language practice German and English and meals. I think 4 hours helping a day would be perfect, the rest of the day you can enjoy with your own program.

Help
I inherited a house from the sixties, unfortunately in a bad condition and I would like to do some renovation. Above all I need someone who helps me to clean. Also i want do some painting (walls and windows), maybe the whole front of the house. Maybe you are an artist and you want to realize a graffitiy or a picture on one wall. In harvest and summer I need helpers with for harvesting fruits (berries, apples, plums etc.) I prepare marmelades, juice etc. so you can learn how to conserve food for the winter. Help around the garden is always nice. You don't need to have any special abilities to work for me. I guess everybody can do it. if you have special abilities, it will be perfect. For example you can decorate the outside wall of the house with a picture. Or you can renovate old furnitures. 4 or 5 hours helping would be nice, and the rest of the day is free. I have many bicycles that ou can rapair if you are able. I would like to cook together, and I would like to learn something from you cooking together. Also I can teach you how to prepare German meals. I am aktive in foodsaving and foodsharing, so we cook with groceries from there. or with fresh vegetables from the garden. we eat nearly everthing and we don't have any allergies.

I would like to improve Spanish, French and Italian, maybe start with Portugues and above all Arabic. I speak French, Spanish and Italian on an intermediate level, arabic beginner.
Accommodation
The room is at a suburban place in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The room is nice and light with an own kitchen. Shower is in the cellar, we don't have a special bathroom. The house I live in is from the 50ies and a little bit like a museum of this time... Everythimg is very simple. We heat with wood in ovens.
What else ...
Stuttgart with may interesting spots and museaums is not too far, there is bus and train nearby. We can do some sightseeing trips. The surrounding of Schwäbisch Gmünd is quite nice for walking and cycling.
