    Description

This is a new work-in-progress villa homestay on a small island of Koh Phayam, Thailand. We are planning to create a place where families, couples and groups of people can come on weekend trips and vacation time with a type of atmosphere of "home away from home". We are located on top of a mountain with a magnificent view of the sea and jungle. Surrounded by nature, cashew nut trees, banana trees and with hornbills and eagles flying around. We have both sunrise & sunset views of the villa. We are still in the developing process and we need handy people to extend parts of the villa - construction work, decoration jobs, gardening. We have several guest rooms, kitchen & bathroom on each floor, nice outdoor kitchen, sundeck, basketball court, a garden, parking space, workshop with all kind of tools.

You will get to live among the locals & immerse yourself in an island simple life. You can learn Thai language by spending time with local farmers and fishermen. You can also go surfing side-by-side with local surfers, there are beginner type waves most of the time of the year, but more bigger in the monsoon season from May till November.

We are looking for workawayers (male & female) who can help with our building process of our villa, cleaning of the house and organisational part for our guests. The stay is minimum one month, ideally few months. You will have to work mostly in the morning and some hours in the afternoon. You will have your free evening time and you can go enjoy sunset at the beach most of the days. We also have 4 dogs and will need to take care of them ( feeding, keeping in house etc) when the owner is away.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Koh Phayam is a small island in the south of Thailand with only motorbike roads and little shops. It takes 35 minutes by speed boat from Ranong pier. Forested hills of Ko Phayam are a habitat of monkeys, wild animals and a variety of birds like Hornbill and Sea Eagle. At the south end of Buffalo Bay is a small sea gypsy settlement.

This gorgeous little island is truly the undiscovered pearl of the Andaman Sea with long white sandy beaches, clear blue sea, coral reefs, it's the perfect place to really get away from it all. The two main bays are Aow Yai , the sunset bay, and Aow Khao Kwai - ( Buffalo bay ).Both bays have long curving white sandy beaches. If you get bored of the beach life then there's always the inland experience. Ko Phayam island has lots of good mini hikes into the hills, forests and jungle.
