    Description

Hi, I’m Adrian, and I welcome you to my small off-grid tropical fruit farm in Salobreña, on the Costa Tropical of Granada.

This is a living project focused on self-sufficiency, regenerative agriculture and simple living. It’s not a big commercial farm, but a real place where we experiment with growing food, managing resources, and building a more independent way of life.

The land is about 4,500 m² with a wide variety of tropical fruit trees: cherimoya (main crop), avocado, banana, papaya, mango, guava, citrus, figs and more. The system is partly managed and partly natural, allowing biodiversity to develop and reducing the need for external inputs.

We also run small-scale activities like farm tours and direct fruit sales, which help support the project.

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This is a hands-on experience focused on real life, not theory.
Tropical fruit growing in southern Spain
    Regenerative and ecological farming practices
Water management and reuse systems (important in dry climates)
    Off-grid energy (solar system)
Basic maintenance and practical problem solving on a farm

    IMPORTANT TO KNOW
This place is for people who are independent and practical.
I work a lot on my own projects, so I don’t offer constant supervision. You should be comfortable taking initiative, working alone at times, and adapting to a simple environment.
This is not a retreat or a hotel experience. It’s a real farm with real needs.

    DAILY LIFE
We usually work in the mornings when temperatures are better. The rest of the day is free.
Sometimes we share meals or time together, sometimes everyone goes their own way. It depends on the moment and the people.
The village of Salobreña is 1 km away, and the beach is about 3 km. You can easily combine farm life with exploring the area.

    LIVING CONDITIONS
Living conditions are simple and natural. You will have your own private space to rest, either in a room or in a well-equipped camper van, depending on availability. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with people staying on the land.
There is always fresh fruit available from the trees, and as this is an off-grid place, water and electricity are used consciously.

    WHO THIS IS FOR
    People interested in:
    - self-sufficient living
    - permaculture / regenerative agriculture
    - simple life and independence

And especially people who want to learn by doing, not just observing.
