  Description

  Hi i'm Thanasis, I live in a traditional village in the mountains in northern Greece. I'm an artist. I'm planning to make a farm and then maybe a traditional eco inn. The village is very quiet and there are many mountains and rivers around. It is 50km far from Thessaloniki and there is a daily bus to here from the city.
  
  I registered on workaway because I'd like to have some travellers around to work together on the projects and to enjoy and be happy together!
  
  We'll share the cooking and I'll treat you with some good Greek cuisine (I'm sorry but it is not vegan friendly)
  
  Lately i don't have many tasks for the house so i only feel like hosting people for cultural exchange and preferably artists (ideally musicians)

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  I have been travelling a lot myself and living in different countries and places around Europe. I am an artist myself and been working with DJ'ing and movies for many years. I would like to bring travellers here for cultural exchange, for us to enjoy and also for a more open culture of the whole village where there are mostly Greeks living and not many tourists around.
  I will show you some nice places around and take you to the local tavern during your stay here. I can teach you about cooking Greek cuisine and share and introduce you to some good Greek, eastern and world music. I also got a very old ceramic oven here and i would like to start experimenting with making the best pizzas in the world.

  At the moment the house is in a good shape so i only need some help with the pets (1 dog, 2 kittens) . And of course i'm always interested on meeting artists

  I can host 1-2 persons at the time, I got one spare bedroom with a double bed and there is also an extra bed in the kitchen. Two meals per day

  If you like hiking and nature you will enjoy this place very much, the nature is beautiful with deciduous and castanea forests on the mountain and lots of mushrooms after the autumn rains.
  You will have the opportunity to go with me to the next village weekly market every friday and there is a daily bus to the city Thessaloniki where you can also go and explore on your days off.
