    Description

We used to have an automotive country workshop where we did WOF checks and fixed and serviced cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery, which we have closed down now and are in the process of emptying out.
In our spare time we still look after our little farm, some sheep and rabbits.
We are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us and help looking after the gardens and the house and the animals.
We grow most of our own food, from bananas to meat.
Our house is an older farm house, that is nice and warm and we are now in the process of tidying everything up to move out.

In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep and some rabbits. And we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us with that. We always need someone who is a gun at weeding or painting or cleaning and tidy up.
We grow and eat our own meat, fruit and vegetables.
A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best into our lifestyle.
You will have to join into our daily routines: breakfast is at 7.30 am and then we feed all the animals, especially the hungry dogs and work starts at 8.30 am.
We expect about 4-5 hours help per day and we offer a nice room with a lovely warm bed, great meals, and a reasonable amount of WiFi, which is a bit limited due to our location.
We integrate our helpers like a family member and mostly have only one or a couple at a time. This way you can experience a true Kiwi lifestyle.
Our home is on a 2ha lifestyle block, which also used to accommodates our business.
We have a small orchard with a variety of fruit trees, including bananas, a vegetable garden and a big garden around the house with goldfish ponds and large lawns and lots of flowers.
