Description
Our project is to build a lifestyle oriented to conserve diversity of Life and Culture in the west Pyrénées. It's a part of a world wide project to connect differents place to live to transform the human society into a place where you can learn and teach about your passion and move freely to the next place depending on your interest of the moment.
We are a french/japanese family with two kids (10 and 12 years old) and brother and mother and friends. The husband Jules is gardening and working on the network, Miwa the wife is doing japanese artcraft, especialy indigo dying from Tokushima her hometown.
We welcome you to learn and help about self-sufficiency and eco-network around the globe.
Located between mountain and ocean in Béarn a beautiful region.
The main mission is to participed to an exchange of knowledges and technics by creating new trails using special sign and spread the word and share knowledge and passion.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We speak french and japanese at home. We love languages and like to teach and learn always more.
We do everthing for ourselves for years, we can teach DIY activities about almost anything.
We are open to anybody as long as they have motivation to learn and share.

Help
We need help for the 3 hectares garden-forest, everyday we work on the network, then we seed, transplant, plant, weed, cut and harvest. But we also occasionnaly, when needed,do many different craft and art activities (building small wouden fourniture, plant dying, event organisation, cleaning...)

We speak French, Japanese, English, Spanish. A little bit of Russian, Chinese, Mongol and German. We love to learn and teach about languages.
Accommodation
You can sleep in a yourt or in a room in a house. There are bed and clean sheet, the area is very safe and quite surrounded by forest.
In exchange for your help we will share our meal usually vegetarian with food from the garden and a mixe between french and japanese cuisine.
Breakfast and Diner will be on your own timing, we can procure bread, jam and eggs and vegetables from the garden.
We also offer ingredients for breakfast and dinner .
We cook and eat the lunch all together between 12h and 14h. Mostly vegetarian meal.
What else ...
We have a car, they are no bus but two small very cute villages are 5 km distant and they is everything you could want there.

We are at the top of a hill so internet is ok. Internet is the best at the top of the castel. The green house can also be good to work.
