Description
Hello!
We’re Robin and Jeanne, 22 and 21 years old. We are French-Swiss and have decided to put our professional lives on hold to go and discover New Zealand.
Robin recently left his job as a carpenter. He’s passionate about working with wood and spends a lot of time doing DIY projects with his father. He also loves outdoor activities: skiing, mountain biking, climbing…
As for me, I’ve just finished my studies in urban planning. I love being outdoors just as much as Robin. In France, I regularly do petsitting: I enjoy taking care of animals and spending time with them. I also help my mother in her garden and I love cooking with her fresh produce.
We would both be delighted to share our help and skills with our future hosts, and to exchange with them to improve our English.

More details about your skills
Robin: I have a Swiss CFC as a carpenter, and I’ve worked a lot with my father, mainly with wood in the forest. So I’m quite comfortable with manual work: carpentry, small earthworks, DIY, bicycle mechanics… I’ve also helped out on a goat farm, driven tractors, and taken part in various agricultural tasks. Always ready to lend a hand and discover new ways of doing things.
Jeanne: During my studies, I worked as a waitress in a restaurant and as a sales assistant in a clothing store. I’m resourceful and I like adapting to new environments. I enjoy human contact, learning new tasks, and taking part in the daily life of the place where I am.
