Description
We are an Irish couple, Ciara (Mum) and Rob (Dad) with two children, Bobby is five years old and Billie is two. We also have a sweet dog called Hanna, she is very friendly. We are a creative, easy going family that enjoy the outdoors. We live by the woods and coast and love to make the most of having so much beauty at our doorstep. Rob is a photographer/videographer and Ciara previously an Art Teacher, currently looks after the kids and manages the rental property. We have converted an old Milk Dairy into two spaces, our home and a rental property. Ciara has a passion for design and Rob loves to build and engineer which has allowed the convertion project to become their reality.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The Wild Atlantic Way and West Cork are sought after locations for good reason, it is simply gorgeous here. There is a rich surfing, sea-swimming, kayaking, hiking, music and arts culture here along with an ever ending array of beautiful places to explore. The locals are known for their friendly and helpful qualities.
We live 7km from the nearest town of Clonakily which has local markets with good quality food on a Friday, cute cafes and a good music scene. We drive in and out of town daily and would be happy for you to jump in if you need to go to town and we can provide a bike/s for you when you want to explore yourself in your own time.Au Pair Help

Help
We would like help with cooking, cleaning and minding the kids. The kids love active and imaginary outdoor play, they also love art, crafting and reading, someone with alot of patience and respect with children is a must for us.
Our dog Hanna loves some attention also and will never say no to a cuddle or a walk when on offer.
If we were away for the day we would ask you to possibly check in on Hanna or to take her for a walk.
We would also need help with light outdoor work such as powerhosing, painting, gardening etc.
There is often a DIY or building projects of somesort going on at our place too so if you have experience/skills in this field that would be a big bonus.
Because of the nature of our work, there is often not a set weekly routine so we would need someone that is comfortable with a flexible agenda.Languages

The person or couple staying with us will have their own comfortable double bedroom. It is worth noting this bedroom is right off our kitchen so you may hear us preparing breakfast on your mornings off. In the evenings when the kids are in bed, we always hang out in the living room so you can enjoy your own couch space in the kitchen too should you want to.
What else ...
We would appreciate it if you reframe from using your phone in front of the kids as we aim to create a screen free (as possible) environment for them.
Having your own car is not a must but would be a bonus.
Ideally we would like someone over 25 years of age.
We are open to more than one workaway at a given time. But please note the bed available is a double bed, a couple would be ideal.A little more information
