Description
We are a small collective taking care of a beautiful permacultural garden of 2.5 hectares, chosing an alternative way of living with a truthful intention to create with the Nature surrounding us.
We are located just at the Swiss border near Geneva.
30 years ago, the land were only farm crops turned into a flourishing garden hosting biodiversity. Over the last decade, many people contributed to make this land, an authentic small piece of heaven.
Today, Mathieu and Morgane are at the heart of the project to keep on preserving what has been created and planting new seeds for new projects. Luc, Clarisse & Izak are now, also, part of the project and living on site. We are accompanied by 4 dogs and a cat.
The main activities on the land are divided into two poles :
Collective pole : grow food (garden, and transformation of the production into a variety of products), taking care of the land and improving communal spaces >> Handled by the people who live here permanently and the woofers
Hospitality pole / Rented area / Big construction work >> Handled by the people involved in the project, not the woofers
We are more than happy to welcome anyone willing to share good vibes, experiences, new knowledge to start growing a small community to honor and take care of this wonderful place. Having a workaway experience with us will give you the opportunity to experience life following seasonal rhythm, helping in the garden, participate in sharing knowledge and participate in a project that is always reshaping as the seasons and opportunities evolve.
We appreciate people that choose to stay on the land for a little while, this is kind of the best way to explore the variety of things happening on the land and slowly find your own pace here and getting a bit more independant too. We do appreciate longer stays this is also the best way to connect and learn from each other therefore we start welcoming you for a minimum stay of 1 month (4 weeks).
Our link with the surrounding nature is a key motive to our activities here. As we are just at the edge of the big forest of Jussy we are lucky to have a lot of wildlife around our areas of activities.
And if you are more curious our instagram page (ask us for the link) can also gives you insights about our project.

We are glad to welcome enthusiastic people willing to learn and discover all the aspects of what it is to run a small farm, in which you will be included in all the different fields during your stay. You will have the opportunity to share and bring up also your ideas and knowledge and learn how together we can go further.
Help
After a year-break, we are looking forward this year welcoming again fellow helpers from May to September to help lay out the surroundings, do outside tasks and develop system towards our autonomy :
In 2026 we will focus mainly on building our future space so we would need
- help in landscaping and creating a new area of the garden
- help maintaining the garden (chopping, cutting, digging, wheelbarrowing, weeding, repairs)
For the collective own consumption (you and us), you will also participate taking care of :

Accommodation
ACCOMMODATION
Middle/ Low season : you will share a bedroom in the common house and a shared bathroom.
High season : we have large tents (provided with mattress, blanket, pillow) with dry toilet and outside warm water shower at proximity.
MEALS
Helping days :
Grocery shopping and cooking are shared and organized depending on the number of volunteers, generally taking turn following vegan/vegetarian and volunteers/hosts' own local/international recipes.
During the helping days, food for breakfast and lunch is provided and we eat all together at lunch time.
Days off and diner, you are mostly independent, cooking with veggies from the garden and can use the common kitchen ingredients.
Depending on the vibe and the needs of each other we improvise dinner together, movie night, board games etc, if we feel like to ;)
What else ...
The forest nearby hosts a wild reserve with protected swamps and damp forest which is beautiful all year long.
The city of Geneva (30 min away by bus) is a small but intense cultural and multi-ethnic city with a lot to see.
All around us we are surrounded with the Alps (30min - 1hour away) which you can explore and wander or ski whether which season you are coming to see us.
Our previous workawayers enjoyed exploring the region with the bike at their disposal.
