Description
Hello there,
We have a dream to create a healing hub that's in central Frome, that can help mankind understand trauma and stabilise their nervous systems at a time in their life when their mental health need a little TLC. We are a completely non-profit organisation .
We are looking for men and women that are creative, good with DIY and wood work and gardening and garden design, can cook and that have a good amount of energy to work within our little community to create this healing hub and work towards bring our dreams to reality, and those of mankind that have experience of trauma, mental health and healing modalities would be fantastic, plus if you have experience of growing charities and reaching service users please let us know, social media not my thing, so this would be a great skill too and if any one good with websites and tech stuff, there is office work that can be waived in also
We have dogs that you may see at times and can walk if you like, but they don't live at the house.
We are looking for men and women to come join our little tribe and help with gardening, dog walking, cooking together, DIY, holding workshops, help market the charity a. We are open to people bringing their attributes and weaving them in.
We are looking for someone who is independent, has common sense and is able to work from their own initiative. we are unable to be around all day , so would like to have someone that's cool with a list and can work on their own.
I'm a woman who loves to laugh, dance, eat well, do yoga, have fun and socialize as well as having my own space. I have a project that I am working on which is very dear to my heart so this sometimes takes up my time and attention. I prefer to eat healthily, eating mainly a gluten free, dairy free diet but I do sometimes eat meat. We love sitting down eating together and sharing conversation. I also have disabilities that fluctuate and sometimes keep me away from the project, so a understanding of this would be needed, as it means at times my partner has to care for me, so we are not on site and need people that can do work on their own.
My partner is a arty person but needs to get back into it, as this is something we want to bring more into his and our home. He loves to drum and is keen on keeping well and doing yoga, swim and gym and reading.
Creating a good schedule for us all is vital to help us all grow with our ideas- and we all gain. We believe that a good check ins is great so we are each aware of where each other is at, and if there is ever any issue we offer a space to arrange to talk about it, to find remedy and not allow resentment to build, making the stay a good experience for all. We also feel its important that although the living space is separate if we could eat and cook together at times each week to make this part of the experience, this helps with the flow. There are cafes everywhere that wifi can be accessed and a library. sorry we don't have wifi in the house.
Usually if r workawayers help out 5 hours a day, 5 days a week suits us, but this is negotiable as some days maybe busier than usual.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to do different tasks and be fluid not rigid. please note we do not offer a place for culture exchange only , it’s a work exchange and we do not have the time to commit to creating friendships and holding space for others as we are full to our own capacity . i say this as others have come with expectations that we are going to be able to spend our time with them, we are a busy family with a vision and simply need people to work to help reach service users and create some healing . This said, we do like to share meals with workaways to get to know each other and we do quite often create friendships that have grown over time, we like to be involved too with the house dynamics and its not a us and them scenario, we are all part of the same community, just my role seems to keep me out the house more as the hunter gatherer lol.
We ask that if your the type of person that cannot bring issues or controversy to the table as a grown man or woman, and find remedy but allows resentment to grow then please be honest and this place is not be suitable. As due to my health conditions, any unclean, resentment or unkind words that are just gossip actually cause me harm. We have our own mental health issues and having mankind come in that do not want to help create a space to help mother's and father's and children heal, but gossip actually is in opposition to what we are trying to bring to the community. We have noticed this toxic frequency tries to sabotage the work we are trying to do, and the efforts we are going to, to help mankind. I reiterate we a non- profit organisation and all we do is work for free with our own personal time and donate our own personal money and we do not consent to any of mankind to come into our space that is not in alignment with love, as any thing else really upsets the flow and has no place here. Please only contact us if you want to be involved in creating a beautiful project and have the capacity to talk cleanly and real of things if and when they pop up, and not behind our backs. We simply do not consent to any play ground behaviours any more. Hope you inner stand the importance of this, as words hold a frequency and we have experienced many unkind words in the atmosphere which have caused us harm, and makes the project difficult to work on. I'm a sensitive soul due to experiencing huge trauma in my life, but this trauma has been a gift and helped me develop in many ways as a woman and helped me vision creating this space to help others for free or donations. I have to state this now as I will no longer tolerate unkindness coming our way. We do not consent any more, its a cruel world out there in many areas and we just want simple caring kindness shared and not to live in that world any more :)
We also would really like those of mankind that are open minded about the current situation. those that are awake to the reality we face as mankind and those who bring love and kindness to the community and not a fear frequency. we love to exchange with open hearted, grounded people who's desire is to create a dimension of love.
please note due to very busy life's and my health condition that fluctuates I cannot always get back to people all of the time as fast as I would like too. Hope you understand.
Always in love
