Description
We are Sabine, Tom from Germany and Lucy, our Border Collie from Portugal.
And Stéphan (born 1982), Lucy (1986) and Joé (2014) from France
And Sandro (1979), Jenny (1979), Malia (2013) and Mirot (2011) from Germany
We are in the process of building a kind of centre for holistic healing and are looking for you to help us. We will build the communal kitchens, construct houses out of clay, plant trees and build a large lake where we can swim.
At the moment we are still pretty much at the beginning, which means that we are all still sleeping in vans, motorhomes or tents. But we want to build the first houses as soon as possible so that we have some additional accommodation.
When it comes to the clay houses, Stéphane will guide us; he already has a lot of experience in working with clay and can also give you some experience. There are currently 9 of us camped on the large site.
We will work together on the projects. Other tasks may also be added. For example, we are currently building a photovoltaic system so that we can generate electricity independently at a central point.
So if you enjoy working on projects like this, then our land in the southern Alentejo should be your destination. Our ambition is to construct something and have fun doing it. And we need more strong arms for that!
We are about 30 minutes from the coast and 30 minutes from the nearest reservoir (lake).

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
On the one hand, it is about being mindful of each other and on the other, it is about building the facilities. We want to bring people from all over the world together and inspire them to live in a non profit community. You can learn to build mud houses and dig wells. There will be workshops to strengthen the community spirit and we will support each other.
Help
Hi beautiful,
we have a plot of 31 hectares on a ridge in the south-west Alentejo, not far from the Algarve and the beaches of south-west Portugal. From the highest point of our land we can look down on the town of Odeceixe (and the Atlantic Ocean) and on the other side we can see far into the countryside. It is a magical landscape..
We want to prepare it for a non profit community. It is intended to be a meeting place for mindful people from countries all over the world to get to know like-minded people. For yoga and breathwork and many other techniques
We only bought the land in November 2023. We are at the very beginning. We need to build clay houses for people who stay with us (including you), a yoga shala and communal facilities. We want to tap springs, lay pipes and secure the electricity supply. And we are looking forward to your help.Languages
