We are a friendly family of five living in Watergrasshill, Cork – a lovely village with an easy commute to Cork city and plenty to see and do nearby. We originally come from Nigeria but have lived in Ireland for over 20 years. Ireland is truly home for us, and we’d love our au pair to feel welcome here and to have the chance to explore this beautiful country.
Our family includes three children – the oldest is 6 and the youngest is 2. The first two are in primary school, and all three are well-behaved, independent, and love helping around the house. We have a good daily routine, and the kids adjust easily to new people. They are active, curious, and love creative play, so we’d really appreciate someone who enjoys engaging with children through art, music, storytelling, or outdoor games.
The kids are involved in sports and swimming, and we spend a lot of time outdoors. We don’t have pets at home but we all love animals and often visit farms or the zoo.
We’re looking for a genuine, caring female who truly loves children and wants to be part of our family life for a while. In return, you’ll find a warm, respectful home, support in settling in, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy Cork and the Irish countryside.

We’re looking for a genuine, caring FEMALE who truly loves children and wants to be part of our family life for a while. Accommodation
Large double bedroom and bathroom
You will have 3 meals everyday, you will help us for 25 hours a week with 2 full days off. You'll have your own room with a key. We will provide ingredients for you to cook your meals or you can join us to eat what we eat. We are flexible and would like to try new food as well. I love cooking and I can easily watch youtube videos to cook any food you want, if you don't know how to cook.

We offer a warm, welcoming home where you’ll quickly feel part of the family. You’ll have your own comfortable room, meals provided, and plenty of time to explore or relax during your free time.
We value respect, kindness, and open communication, and we try to make sure our au pair feels appreciated and included in family life. Weekends are usually for family activities, local outings, or day trips, and you’re always welcome to join us or use the time for yourself.
Watergrasshill is a friendly village with good transport links to Cork city — perfect for exploring Ireland’s culture, countryside, and coast. We’re happy to help you settle in, meet people, and make the most of your stay!
