Description
We are a family, three grown ups, living at a small farm with our horses, some sheep, chicken, cats and a dog.
We all have full-time jobs besides the farm. So the farm is no business, but a hobby only.
Our house as well as the barn was built in the beginning of 19th century, so there is always some renovation to do.
There is also a need to renew parts of the enclosures for our sheep and horses more or less continiously.
I also started with a little gardening project a while ago, which I will extend successively.
This year (2025) we will need to renew our sewage system, therefore we will have to make bigger changes in our garden and at least temporary move some fences of our pastures. We plan to start this project end of March/beginning of April.Types of help and learning opportunities

Generally you will, by taking part in our daily life, also have the possibility to get to know some of our traditions, including local food and holidays.Help
During winter time we mainly would like to get some help with daily tasks around the house and at the farm, while during spring/summer/fall also some help with general renovation like e g preparing for our tack room or painting may become actual.
Renewal of the pasture fences for our horses and sheep is also something comming up occationally.
Depending on the interest / knowledge a bit of gardening may also be included. During automn harvesting is a part of your task.
Dog and cat sitting or even house/farm sitting, including all tasks like feeding and mocking, may also be requested occationally for a shorter period.Languages spoken

Generally not, as this might cause stress for our own pets. Nevertheless, we are open to discuss this matter, depending on what kind of pet you intend to bring with you, but you would definitely have to stand for all costs like food and anything else needed for your pets.

It was quiet and peaceful place.
I was really glad that I could have the opportunity to work with the animals even though I didn't have much experiences. I learned a lot from the animals. The dogs and cats were funny and the horses, the sheep and the chickens were very interesting.
