Exchange with the Wayuu culture. All people working here are Wayuu's. Get in contact with the fishermans and wayuu womens selling artesanal bags. We teach you some basic wayuunaiki and spanish and learn how to live in the desert, the basic life.
Simply to make tourist feel welcome. The way to Cabo is adventurous - la Guajira and Cabo de la Vela are still developing. We mainly need help with languages. You are able to learn kitesurfing with a special discount of 30% or if you already know how to kitesurf, you can rent our new cabrinha equipment. If you like to give English classes, you are more than welcome.
Chinchorro (big size hammock) in private cabaña shared with other volunteers. We have a kitchen to cook. Bring some food and water. Breakfast is included and offered by us. You receive 40% dicount in the bar for drinks, water and beer.
Our cook is a wayuu woman. Typical plates are offered and a lot of fish you hace never eaten before.
We have high seasons and low seasons, and sometimes calm days followed by busy days. So you will have time to go to the local beaches, learn to kitesurf (30% discount) or just walk around.
