    Description

Urban permaculture garden in the making. Our 2500 m2 garden is situated in a small town in East Germany. It's an urban setting but we are glad to have enough land to farm for private use. As the property is quiet big we can always need some helping hands in the garden, with building or setting up new structures or beds. Our focus of interest is herbal and medicinal plants, and seed harvesting.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are open to cultural exchange. Our library is stocked with books on permaculture, gardening, life lessons and psychology and you're always welcome to browse it. Rosa did her PDC in 2023, and she can share information on permaculture and regenerative agriculture with you. She is also into tea and herbal remedy making and can go on walks with you to identify wild plants.

  • Help

    Help

We need help with maintaining the garden, building and setting up new structures such as e.g. the chicken shed, new garden beds, planting seedlings and trees, watering the garden, wood works and anything else we might come up with together. There's always something to make and create in a permaculture system. During your stay you might also need to take over chores in the house, which serve to provide a clean space for our co-living. We would also love to exchange ideas because we believe that other perspectives are nurturing rather than limiting.

We have a spare bed room unit with a total of three beds. It is divided in two rooms. One features two single beds and a wardrobe and the other room feature one single bed and some furniture. The two rooms are connected with each other. We are open to receiving couples or friends in our two bed room or accommodate you separately depending on how many people we are hosting at the same time. On the same floor there is a bathroom with bathtub and toilet which is a shared bathroom. A shower is situated in the cellar if needed. We are also planning on building an outdoor shower unit in the near future. :)
