    Description

    English version:

Nestled on a wooded hill in the Poitou-Charentes region, ten minutes from La Roche-Posay and thirty minutes from Châtellerault, this is a small ashram founded 30 years ago by the American spiritual teacher Lee Lozowick (1947–2010). Surrounded by woods and meadows, it offers a natural setting conducive to contemplation and rest and renewal.

We are a small community, some living on-site and others in nearby villages. Together, we care for this place where seminars, silent retreats, and individual or group stays are held.

The place welcomes people from all spiritual backgrounds, including those with no religious affiliation. We have a one-hour meditation in the morning et meet several times a week to play, share or study inspiring spiritual literature. Guests and woofers are always free to join, with no expectation or obligation on our part.

we cultivate an atmosphere of kindness and simplicity. Anyone ready to share an experience combining manual work, community life, and inner growth is most welcome.

  • Help

    Help

English version: We would need about 4 hours of help per day with ongoing tasks. Activities vary depending on the season and current needs. These may include:

✓ revitalizing a vegetable garden currently lying partially fallow by creating new permaculture beds
    ✓ helping with seasonal harvesting
✓ taking care of the orchard and outdoor areas in general
✓ carrying out small DIY tasks
